Would this product be safe to use on large dogs?

I would think it would require certain coat on a dog in order to be a useful tool.

Can it be washed with water and be used again several times and still remain a good tool

No, when the surface gets dull or dirty, you scrape it along a brick, cement, rock, etc. This grinds off a layer and exposes new, clean, sharp edges again. It lasts forever though, I used this one for my two horses last spring and am using the same one this spring.

Would this work good for a husky?

Absolutely!! I use it on my horse who never met a mud puddle she didn't roll in, and my Malamute/Bernese Mountain Dog mix. I highly recommend it!
