Very smooth and tasty bourbon
Being quite a big fan of bourbon I bought a bottle of American Eagle 12 after a friend sent me a sample. At 43% is exactly in my preferred range for bourbon and is really smooth whilst also having loads of flavour.... Also comes in a very cool bottle. At the current £55 is very reasonable for a 12 year old bourbon and much nicer than stuff I've bought at double the price. Update : As I really liked the 12 year old have since purchased a bottle of the 4 year old and that's really nice too, little bit weaker at 40% but very drinkable and at under £30 good value for a very nice bourbon.

One of the smoothest
Easily in the Top 3 Bourbons I've had. Beautifully smooth with vanilla and caramel. Will definitely buy again. Smoother than Woodford reserve double oaked which is at a similar price point.

An American bourbon, matured for 12 years...
...in a used jerry can. I have been treating myself to a range of whiskies and bourbons during this covid lark and this is honestly one of the biggest disappointments so far. Even at £30 it was overpriced; it lacks any finesse or subtlety of aroma or flavour. On the nose, it simply burns. The only way to serve this neat would be to a paraffin burner.

A winner
Bought as a gift for my husband and his verdict is superb.
