1/4"-20 Mini Ball Head with Ceiling Mount for CCTV & Video Wall Monitors Mount - 1991

This is a neat little cheap solution for mounting a camera that has a tripod mount. While what I mounted wasnt a camera, it was a vintage camera light that I wanted to display this worked great. Its super easy to setup and install and has nice adjustability. The compact size of it is also nice as it keeps it close to the ceiling and allows the light to draw the eye. Only complaint I do have is the size of the munring screws that are supplied. I personally used some large wood screws I had lying around so it wasn't a huge deal to me.

Small but works well

I bought this to mount my Sonos speaker to a wall. It works perfectly. It's about as flush to the wall as you can get (you have to be able to get your fingers behind it to screw it into the speaker). It's very well constructed and all metal.

Used this for a mount for a small solar panel. Impressive quality for the price, I'm sure some 12 year old in china is being paid .50 a day for making them but whatever. It was easy to mount and customize to my solar panel project and has really good aritulation & adjustability.

The ball head on this thing is horrible. If you loosen it, the ball head comes out the bracket that "secures" it. Very cheaply made. I bought this for hanging a projector upside down and it doesn't lock properly, no matter how you many times you try it. I was able to use another ball head on the rest of the hardware. That was the only reason I didn't return it or throw it in the trash.
