Globe Electric Holden 70" Floor Lamp, Matte Brass, in-Line On/Off Foot Switch 67068, Metal, 60 W, Gold

I've had this lamp for just over a year. It's moved around a couple of times before settling in the entry way by a console table. I put an LED grow light in it for my plants. Sometimes we swap the bulb out and put in a LED rotating disco lightbulb in it for some fun dance parties. It's an attractive piece and was offered at a great value. The light was packaged nicely and easy to assemble. The base is a nice weight, which lends to it's basic sturdiness, but the support pole stands at about six feet, and is made up of five separate screw-together pieces, and makes the light, as a whole, a little wobbly. Honestly, as long as you don't plan on using it for pole-dancing, this shouldn't be too much of a problem. I have a hyper five year-old, which is why I have the lamp safely tucked in a corner spot. The cord is a generous length with a convenient power on/off foot tap. I've been satisfied with its light output, be it with the grow light and disco light. At one point, I had a decorative large globed Edison bulb in it, and the lighting was delightfully ambient. I received my product with no dents or scratches, but would recommend that you thoroughly check your product for any unsightly blemishes. This product has exceeded my expectations. Before purchasing it, I read a lot of the reviews --- so I felt prepared for any type of disappointment. For the price which this floor lamp was offered, it just seemed worth it, ultimately. I love this piece and it receives plenty of compliments. It's a nice addition to our home.

This lamp is perfect if you like clean simple style. It takes up very little space but still makes a statement with its tall slim design. The base is sturdy so it doesn’t wobble and it’s easy to put together in just a few minutes. I love that you can switch out the bulb to change the vibe from warm cozy light to bright daylight. Looks great next to a couch or reading chair and adds that modern touch without being overwhelming.

I had been looking for a slim non-obtrusive floor lamp to go in a small corner space of our foyer and this is perfect. It is a matte brass and very sturdy. It's simple to put together (make sure you pull the cord out the bottom before you start to twist the pieces of the lamp together). Someone mentioned there is a label on the lamp head where you screw in a light bulb - I simply removed it and wiped off the slight residue it left behind with GOO Gone. As for the brightness, well that will depend on the light bulb you choose; I used an oversized (12.5") decorative light bulb. I am totally pleased with this lamp, it's quality construction, looks good and is a good value. Oh, and I love the height of this floor lamp.
