I was removing a massive hive for 30 minutes without a single bite. Durability and Protection: 5/5 From the moment I zipped up the bee suit, I was impressed by its robust construction. The suit held up exceptionally well as I maneuvered around the hive, even with a 2x4 in hand I used to scrape the hive off the bottom of my deck. Notably, not a single bee managed to penetrate the suit's defenses, despite my proximity to their hive and the forceful expulsion of parts of the nest. Hood Design and Accessories: 4.5/5 Wearing a baseball cap under the hood, as suggested by fellow bee warriors, provided an extra layer of protection for my head and face. The hood effectively shielded me from potential stings, although an adjustable tightening mechanism would be a useful addition for a more customized fit. Comfort and Layering: 4/5 Layering proved to be a strategic choice. The thick Carhartt jacket, combined with work jeans, enhanced insulation without compromising mobility. The extra layers, along with duct tape sealing on gloves and ankles, contributed significantly to the suit's effectiveness in keeping the hornets at bay. However, an additional inner lining for added comfort during prolonged use would be appreciated. Ease of Use: 4/5 The bee suit was relatively easy to put on and take off, even under the circumstances of a bee removal operation. The zipper mechanism held up well, and the suit's sizing proved accurate for a comfortable fit over my clothing. Update-Please be aware that you probably will need at least 2 applications of hornet spray to kill all the yellow jackets that are building a nest in the walls of your home. This one was so bad they were eating through the drywall and entering the house. The day after I did the first application, I bug bombed the room they were coming in and sealed all spaces around the door so they could not escape. 2 days later, sure enough, they were still leaving and entering the nest. This time I bug bombed the room first, sealed it again and went outside at midnight and used the whole can to spray around the entire exterior window frame again. Completely killed all remaining yellow jackets. I did not enter the room for 3 days just in case. Glad I didn't because there was at least a hundred dead ones on the floor. Please be careful, observe their behavior, make a plan of attack and you will be successful. We usually have to deal with the in ground nests that I find by mowing over them. Ow! A few years ago I ended up with 13 stings in one day and had to chew a few benadryl to stop my throat closing up. This year they were in the window frame and were coming and going in the hundreds in five minute time frames. Yikes! Stocked up on multiple cans of wasp and hornet spray but couldn't work up the nerve to go after them. Decided on checking for a bee suit on amazon and found this one. After checking the fit chart, I chose the xxl size. I am only 5 feet tall but I wanted it to be loose and comfortable. The leg length didn't matter because there is elastic at the bottom of the leg which fit well around my boots. Gloves fit well enough and went far up my arm. I set out to spray around midnight and the frame had around 25 guards along the side. I sprayed around the whole perimeter of the window until the can was empty. Fortunately not one survived to attack me, but at least now I feel safe enough to do the job myself. I am happy with the quality, will update if issues arise in the future.

Fits good I wish it was a little shorter but I was afraid to get a smaller one because I am short and stout. But this will do the job beautifully. Well made highly recommend

The sizing chart is really accurate. Gloves are tight but fit. I'm not expert but seems to be a good beginner bee suit.

Llegó como esperado, sí defiende de las abejas, de hecho lo usé para quitar un panal que tenía en la casa. Nada más sugiero poner en la cabeza una gorra para mejor protección y poner una mascarilla que cubra la boca y la nariz ya que la parte del traje que se pone en la cabeza tiene enfrente una red que podría rozar la nariz y si no tienes protección te van a picar. Por otra parte la medida es para una persona normal que mide hasta 1.80. Más grande no cabes.

The material feels thin and one wonders if this will work against stingers. The wasps mostly ignored me. But i did have a few briefly crawl on me. The XXl fit perfectly on my 6. 2 ft frame with a rather large belly. I have only used the suit for one wasp job and there were no issues. It took a few hours over several days to vacuum up most of the insects and then plug the hole above a dryer vent. a year later and there is zero activity. I would say the reasonable price for safety was well worth the adventure in wasp wrangling.

I bought an xl size suit, it fitted well with room to move ok, the gloves fitted ok especially given that I have large hands. Very pleased with my purchase.
