Throwing Axe

Got this for my adult son who loves all things Norse. It's a very nice ax. Heavy and well made. He loves it.

i got them for a gift for my tattoo artist. he loves them.

Love it for my guy for Christmas

I've been throwing axes for about roughly 5 years now, and of all the ones that are designed to look Nordic and Viking Style, these ones take the gold. They are excellent throwing axes as well and stick the target 99% of the time. The only thing that concerns me is the durability. The manufacturer status that is can be used recreational wise and competitive wise, and displays so through its video advertisement. The axe clearly can be used for those means. However, I've have to replace some of the nails with heavier duty nails multiple times now, and both axes I purchased have had their heads slide significantly. They are both still secure but I feel uneasy throwing them now, because I'm concerned the head will bounce back if the wood shatters. Overall. This is a true work of a master. My only one suggestion is to adopt the same.style but include a full tang for the axe. I do suggest this axe for those who don't plan on using it as extensively as I do. It's still a great figure piece.

Happily Surpised how it looks and quality.

At first, please understand that my writing may be awkward because I am using a translator. If you bought this axe for display at home because you wanted to give it a Viking feel, it would be perfect But I never recommend it if you're buying it to actually throw it in As many other reviews say, the wood at the head of the axe is poorly durable. I'm sure it will break down within 20 throws at the most. But at least it looks really nice! This axe is cool enough without having to throw it. I hope you make the right choice for your own purpose.

I bought this for a Vikings photoshoot and it’s unbelievable! Amazing quality, especially for the price! It also has a good weight to it which I wasn’t expecting. (It’s not flimsy) I highly recommend buying for photo shoots or even home decor.

Honestly I was in the process of typing my problem as my Fiancé talked me out of it so I could cool off and not say what I had planned to say about this. That being said, when I had purchased all the throwing Tomahawks that I did (which all had 5 star ratings) spending the amount that i paid being somewhere around 300$! I finally get them and one of them broke and the blade had chipped off at the bottom only being thrown by me 4-5 times! I the exploded even more because it’s wasn’t like I had myself to blame by missing my throw which Is hard on hatchets, but I didn’t miss! Then I threw my favorite out of all of them, which was the “hand crafted” Viking looking one and again I didn’t miss my target not once, on top of it only being thrown 3 times! 3 TIMES! And the axe head is loose as hell like I could almost slide it right off the handle with ease! Sorry to be so blunt, but for around 300$ I feel like I was completely ripped off and bought nothing more than a set of the lowest quality of steel I’ve ever had! I truly am extremely beside myself and really feel embarrassed by thinking Amazon was much better than What my experience dealing with you guys. Thank you.

Yeah, it's a battle axe. Bought as a gift for a Vikings fan and it made a favorable impression. Feels solid and some of the detailing is pretty nice. Throws well too.

Was a great gift and very nice looking would be nice if the handle wood was made it hardwood as I’ve seen some other reviews if it breaking if thrown but k believe it’s more of a decorative axe then a real throwing axe

I liked the look of it...very sturdy. It is being given as a gift, so it has not been tried out yet. It would have been better if it had a sheath for it...but overall, I am pleased with my purchase...thamks

The product itself is great. They had a two for one special on and it automatically sent me to Amazon and I only ended up with one not happy with that.

J'ai acheté cet hache et d'autres artique de viking très beaux artique mes malheureusement elles ont tout de la rouillés.( conseil pour le vendeur et le fabricant nettoyer les avec du produit avec de l'antirouille et après mettre de l'huile pour les lames) appart ça les arme sont très belle . Je vais mettre un produit pour les lame pour antirouille et après les aiguiser et les huiler.
