This shampoo is the best. It helps a huge amount with reducing hair loss and growing in new hair and in fewer gray hairs! And it gives a great healthy shine and my hair keeps its bounce. I don’t need or want to use any conditioner with it for my fine thin hair. But I found out that a good amount of their conditioner mixed in saved the day when I was stuck for a while with another company’s poor grade shampoo.

I've used the Argan Stem Cell Age Defying Shampoo and Conditioner for maybe five years now, but the formula changes pretty much every time I buy a new bottle. This affects how drying or moisturizing it is to my hair, how dry it feels when lathering, the scent, as well as how long the scent lingers in your hair. But, still, I haven't found anything better that's natural. Also this is the only one of all the commercially available products out there labeled "natural" where the first TWO ingredients are natural, as well as many of the other ingredients. I get that the stuff I can't pronounce is probably sourced from natural stuff, but I don't consider that at the same level as "water and aloe." I'd describe the smell as a mix of patchouli and ylang ylang (maybe partly because I see the latter listed in the ingredients) with, perhaps, an alcohol overtone. Luckily, in most of the formulations of this I've used, the smell fades away overnight and doesn't stick to anything in it's wake.

I’ve only washed with this once but I can already tell this is a dupe for act + acre stem call shampoo! i’m not sure which one was created first in saying that but it performs and smells exactly the same! it smells good, almost patchouli/sandalwood so definitely an acquired smell.

I bought my first Andalou shampoo directly from their website so that I could know what the real product was like so that when I ordered it Amazon, I would be able to tell if it was a counterfeit. I received my first Amazon order yesterday and although I haven't used it yet, they small just like the ones I bought off the website. I decided to go with this product because I heard a lot of good things. I have been suffering from major hair loss for about 5 months now - it is a combination of stress, depression, and hypothyroidism. I also wanted an organic shampoo that wasn't full of chemicals. I have been using it for over a month now (along with the conditioner) and I usually wash my hair every other day. It has made my hair shinier and softer but it is still falling out. I was hoping that it would have helped at least a little but so far it hasn't. I still use it because my hair seems a little healthier and I hope that if I continue to use it, I will see the difference in the shedding.

Pros: I love Andalou Naturals products as they use safe ingredients. Also I have very sensitive skin. Even products that are meant for people with sensitives sometimes bother me. I was not personally using this product. My husband is, but I have used once one a trip without any issues. Also I like the way it smells on him. The shampoo generated a lot of lather without much product. This is impressive since most of the natural shampoos do not have much lather. The lather was easily rinsed out. No residue on hair. He believes it has stimulated some hair growth and says he his hair feels thicker. Cons: Husband has no complaints about this shampoo, he loves it. I saw some people said it dried out their hair. He uses this in combination with the matching conditioner. He has long wavy/ curly hair. Overall: Decent price compared to some other hair thinning or hair growth shampoos. Nice smell. And noticeable results. We will continue to buy it!

I used this shampoo and conditioner 3 - 4 times to give it a chance to see if it worked as it said it would. I was really unhappy about what happened. First, it really changed how my hair felt. Right after washing my hair, it felt really matted and tangled. My hair felt like it had not been combed out in years. I used a detangling conditioner after washing and conditioning and I still had a huge problem combing my hair out. Second problem was that I had easily 3 to 4 times as much hair in my comb afterwards than normal. I bought it as I felt I had higher than normal hair loss. For that short period of time that I used this shampoo and conditioner, it was crazy how much hair loss I had. This product may work for some, but be aware, it will not work for everyone.

Excellent shampoo. I have long fine hair and I find that I only need a little bit of this shampoo and that I don't need to leave it on long as it is quite strong (so it therefore the bottle lasts quite a long time). I also like the smell, which is fresh and reinvigorating. Works well together with same brand conditioner. Highly recommended!

I didn’t notice any improvement. It doesn’t smell really pleasant either. It kinda dries my hair a lot.

I am 30 yrs old with thinning fine hair from years of box dyes bleaches and abuse. I've always bought cheap herbal essence ect also tried expensive brands in salons but they don't come close to the benefits and just fresh bouncy full of life locks I now have sorry for run on sentences.. Just so excited about this product. I've never written a review but had to after using for a month my hair is dramatically different but you'll see results after first use. It only gets better with use!! I only use a dab on scalp and rinse letting my ends get the suds from my scalp this method makes product last longer and is better for your hair. I've also learned not to scrub the shi t out of your hair and scalp just gently massage in. and I use reg conditioner but know the shampoo is amazing it smells so good too. always brush out wet hair ends first with wide tooth comb to prevent breakage
