The best salt for extra hard water!
Apparently we have some of the hardest water in the US, so I spent a long time trying to find the best softener salt. After many tests, this has proven to be the clear winner! We finally have tolerable water for both bathing, but wahing as well. No more calcium build ups!

Cost Comparison
Man I've been buying this product from Amazon for about 2 years because Maytag suggested to find it here and I was cool with it. It is a really great product. A couple of days ago, I went into Lowes to get something and stubbled across the same product and it was $8.49. I was shocked, so shocked i came home, grabbed the original bag i saved and took it to Lowes. It sure as hell was the same thing, only difference is it was a 40lb bag in Lowes and not the 50 lb bag the company left for me. I just could not believe Lowes had a 40lb bag for about $30 cheaper. Thanks for reading this!!

Great Product but buy from Home Depot for $4.97
Over priced considering you can pick up bags at Home Depot. Product works great to determine how many gallons my koi pond is.

Expensive salt
Expensive, $20.00 for one bag. I thought it was two for twenty, but I only received one bag. The salt runs about 7.00 to 8.00, but I paid 20.00. No more salt from Amazon.
