I finally bit the bullet and bought my first pair of pinking shears. I really like them. They're hefty, so I think they will cut through a wide variety of fabrics. The action is smooth and easy to control. I think they're a good value.

If you are a beginner at sewing, these shears are a must have and definitely worth the little bit extra compared to the cheaper options. Very sharp and cuts smoothly! They are heavier than normal scissors but they are not meant to be lightweight.

Why did you choose this product over others?: I purchased the singer pinking sizzors Purley on reputation as singers are a very old reputable company and I'm not disappointed as the sizzors are really well made and exceptionally sharp they cut through the fabric with ease, even though they are a little heavy I found them comfortable to use, I know that most creators use fiskars sizzors and to be honest I've got a selection myself, but there pinking shears are ridiculously expensive (in my opinion) ,so would I recommend singer pinking sizzors.....absolutely yes
