Does it work with the new energy efficient washer?

Yes it works perfectly with the HE washing machines. All you have to do is follow the instructions on the bottle. My whites comes out beautiful. Now I use it every time I get a load of whites to maintain the brightness.

What are the ingredients?

ITS MADE OF SOME KIND OF IRON POWDER AND MINOR INGREDIENTS. ITS SAFE TO USE.

Has anyone used this with a front-loading washer? I'm not able to combine in the water.

I mix it with a quart of water in a bottle. Then, when my load is finished, I open the door and pull the clothes from the sides of the drum as after the spin cycle they tend to stick there. I do this so when I put the mixture into the cups, the material stuck to the sides of the drum don't get hit first. Meaning, the material covering the holes in the drum will get his with the mixture first and longest and tend to result in bluish spots. After releasing the clothes from the side of the drum, I close the door, pour the mixture into the machine's cups. I usually pour the hole thing into the pre-wash cup as it goes directly into the machine. I then set the machine for a rinse cycle and let it go. The result is a wonderfully bright white load that makes things look like they are brand new. My tee-shirts are three years old and still look brand new, as if they've never been through a wash. And I don't use the bluing every time I was either. I use it probably once every four or so washes.
