BEST PUZZLE EVER
Im not typically into puzzle but when I saw this 4d puzzle, I just could think hope but be curious. This puzzle is like none other I known hence it being 4d, which makes the over all completion super satisfying. My favorite part about this puzzle is the very end when you place the buildings down and even get to learn a thing or few about the history. I had so much fun with this puzzle and im left with a beautiful display of tokyo and looking to put together even more 4d puzzles!!

Love the 4D Cityscape Puzzles!
I have completed four of the 4D Cityscape puzzles so far (London, New York, Berlin and now Tokyo). If you love cities, maps, and architecture (souvenir buildings) you will truly enjoy these puzzles. Each of the puzzles I have completed so far have reflected their respective cities in different ways. In some ways, London and Berlin were the most interesting from a historical/educational standpoint. I found New York to look great, but in truth, there are so many similar skyscrapers, that one stops "learning", and just works on getting the buildings placed. Regarding Tokyo, a city I don't know as well as the others, the fun for me was realizing the city layout in terms of their subway system. If you know a little Japanese, you will enjoy that the puzzle includes kana and kanji for street and building names. The 4D puzzles involve laying down three layers of puzzle, first a challenging lower level, reflecting a city map at a much earlier time; second, a less challenging second layer, reflecting the city map now; third, the little plastic buildings, reflecting the city architecture over time. Although some other reviewers have found the quality of pieces to be sometimes wanting, I do not really agree. The quality is fine considering the complexity involved. I am not a puzzle fanatic (in fact have not done any for decades), but find the difficulty level of these puzzles just perfect. They take time (water areas can be difficult), but one wants to savour the puzzle in any case. I highly recommend them, and will be doing several more of the cities offered.

From a fan of Japan...
I miss Japan and have wanted to go back for many years, hopefully I will. But I decided to try something away from a video game or movie and actually use my brain cells on this puzzle. This puzzle for me was HARD.. the first level was a giant mess.. when I got to the water area I was pretty much lost because the majority of the blue water pieces looked the same (haha..) but once I got that and got to the second level is was really downhill. The 3rd level being the buildings was a piece of cake with included poster. Amazing how Japan has changed just in the time that I went there (2001)... especially with Tokyo Tree.. Now my biggest problem is I don't want to take it apart! Not sure what to do with it... anyway it's a good product and would be more fun if you worked on it with a special someone. :)

Great puzzle
Love this puzzle...all the cityscape puzzles actually. But I got the Tokyo one last year when my husband moved there for his work. After putting this together, I felt that I better understood the layout of the city for the many times I've frequented since. It's a fun and educational activity.

A challenge
This was a good challenge for my engineer husband. It took him about 4.5 hours. He really enjoyed. Nice colors. No odor.

You will enjoy this 4D puzzle about one of the world's largest city.
Unique design and 4D aspect makes this an especially engaging puzzle. Well packaged and an excellent group project jigsaw. For the price this is a worthwhile purchase.
