What is the bacoside content %

Just Jaivik Organic Brahmi Powder carries approx. 10-12 % Bacoside.

Why is the color of the powder green? Is it same as Gotu Kola?

There seems to be some confusion regarding Gotu Kola and Brahmi, as they are both called "Brahmi" in different places. Their benefits are similar, as well. I personally sort it out in my mind by referring to Bacopa Monnieri as Brahmi, as in Southern India, and Centalla Asiatica as Gotu Kola, as it is called in the West. This is the best I can do based on my research.

How much do you use in a smoothie?

I take a 1000 milligrams a day. I don't know what that works out to in dry measurements. Brahmi is not a herb you should over use

This is a quality brahmi product. I read about the benefits of this suplement and have added to my daily mix of powders. I think it is a bit of a midlife crisis having turned 50 this year. Overall no negative effects and my general mood is better.

I’ve never tried this supplement before so I can’t compare it with similar. It doesn’t taste very good by itself but I can tell it’s very fresh. I put it in my coffee with creamer or in a smoothie. The dose is 1/2 tsp so it’ll last a long time. I seem to have better memory now, which is why I bought it- have been studying Indian herbs. It tastes like really strong green tea. I’m happy with it.

The taste of this Bacopa didn't match my tastebuds (which likes cilantro), while Bulk Supplements' Bacopa has come to delight me. I purchased this brand when it was out of stock at Bulk Supplements. This product is otherwise fine. I was also frustrated by the finger puzzle of accessing the product. It came in a smaller, non-resealable, unlabeled bag within the ziplock bag. And, with use, the ziplock bag itself has separated into two layers around the seal, which adds more puzzle.
