Natural is so much better than pellets!
I've been feeding this to my medium Senegal red belly parrot for years mixed with the company's fruit and nut treat mixes and she's a happy 25 year old girl!

No Star Anise and no wonderful aroma it used to have originally, but not bad.
I was told that although it is not as good as before the company was bought by the present owners, this is still the best food to get for the bird. The reason is the absence of overly saturated vitamins that are present in other foods including organic ones out there now. I miss the important ingredient of Star Anise which is still on the ingredient list of this food but not a single one was in the bag! I poured it into the original container I kept and kept hoping I would at least see a few or even one among the 3 pounds of different seed and nut. Not one! I rather doubt this bag is different, so I assume a large batch of this is similar out there. Please respond if you buy a bag and find it full of what it should actually list to have. I will post a follow up after my bird eats some of it and let everyone know how it does.

Happy Bird
Very disappointed in the Goldenfeast Central American product. Just received today, which was very fast delivery, however, today's date is 02/10/24 and the 'use by date" is 03/11/24. No way is my concure going to be able to eat this 3 pound bag of food in less than a month. This is not his only source of food. I do mix with other Goldenfeast products.

Good Bird Food
Our Quaker loves this brand of food. This one has larger pieces of nuts, and he loves it. He also loves the Australia and Patagonia blends.
