Perfect identical fit for 2008 Toyota rav4 4wd 2.4l Very easy to install once you have the old driveshaft out. The driveshaft in my girlfriends rav4 had a very worn out carrier bearing and the u joints we’re getting to the point that they were going to need replacing soon. The problem is the original driveshafts in these cars are not technically serviceable. While it can be done, it’s very hard to replace the u joints in these driveshafts being that they are pressed in and injected with plastic rather than using your standard clip on the outside of the cap. Although, this new driveshaft has fully serviceable u joints which is very convenient for future maintenance! The driveshaft seems to be high quality! The u joints are smooth and move freely like they’re supposed to, this is also the case with the carrier bearing. After installation there’s no wobble/shake or any obvious signs of a driveline imbalance. I’m very impressed with this driveshafts quality for the low price being that they can cost upwards of $600. I had to go out of town and needed this asap. Got it 2 day later and it fit great! The crazy vibration from the rear U-Joint being frozen is gone! Local places wanted anywhere from $700-1000 and it was the same brand!

Fit on the car nicely. Be very careful removing the old one from the transaxle, dont break the housing.

Its only been a few days since I put on the drive shaft. So far no issues. Will update if anything changes. UPDATE: >>>>>>>>>>>DRIVE SHAFT BROKE. It's been 2 months. I think it had to be defective because of all the good reviews I've read. Maybe the counter weight was off because it would vibrate at higher speeds. 80mph+. But it broke during acceleration after take off at a red light at normal operating speeds. They've picked it up and its in transit now. Im going to order another one as soon as my refund is issued because right now all I have is front wheel drive

My factory shaft snapped while i was driving my 2007 Toyota Rav 4. I had no idea what to do but i was still able to limp it to a shop. Luckily after talking with them i found this on amazon and got it delivered to the shop a day later. they were able to install it for $300 and i haven't had any problems since. ALSO, if you have had problems with your Toyota vibrating at around 50-70 mph, this part replacement will fix that entirely!

Was impressed at first, u-joint retaining clips looked a little uneven and cheap. Fit perfectly and seemed great for a couple months. After 2 5,000 oil chances (10,000 miles on this driveshaft) it developed a humming/ whirring sound. Next oil change, now having 15,000 miles on this driveshaft, both u-joints have a LOT of play and are clunking around. Tried to contact the seller's store here on Amazon but the link that pops up has no email address and the field for the message is already filled in telling you to visit their store on Amazon. Just wanted to find the size of the u-joints so I can replace the cheap ones it came with with a better quality ones and be over it. Can't even contact the seller. Would not buy again.

A Very High Quality Driveshaft replacement for our 2015 Rav4. Installed easily and has replaceable universal joints at each end unlike the original equipment one .. Also a FRACTION of the price compared to used or Dealer new.

Fit 2014 Rav4 XLE perfectly. It's been driven daily for about 5 months now with no vibrations or issues. Gets driven hard. Was a rusty salty Winter this year too and no issues so far. Only time will tell if this last 5 years or 10. Old driveshaft was rusted stiff. Can't service the UJ on the OEM one. This aftermarket one has a serviceable UJ which will save money next time. Cost like 1/6th the OEM price too. I had my mechanic install it for about $120.

Excellent. Perfect fit. Even has interchangeable u joints, unlike the original which is why I changed the driveshaft. No grease nipples, but the front u joint would be impossible to grease anyways. Quicker delivery than anticipated.
