Is this from the juice?

Yes i think the pomegranate is from the real fruit but I was disappointed when I bought as I never realised it had silicon dioxide in it, I thought it was 100% pomegranate powder in the ingredients but it’s not. I was only consuming it for health reasons, but I won’t now that defeats the object of me buying it, as silicone dioxide is not healthy. I mean it’s maybe ok if your not having it for health reasons, but if u are then I don’t think it’s worth it. And also the price is very expensive considering the ingredients are not all healthy.

is maltodextrin natural sugar and how much is in the powder

Maltodextrin is a type of carbohydrate, ours is made from potato startch and is much better than sugar because it is easily digstible without much dehydration Maltodextrin doesn't use as much water to digest as other carbohydrates do. Can I use this to make red velvet cake ? Looking for a natural red colour this or beetroot powder not sure?

Goodevening, you can use the products in any cuisine whatsoever, however the food color part is a tricky one i.e it depends on the recipe and how well any given product goes with a particular recipe. **9.4/10 Certainly Among Some of My Favourite Ingredients for Smoothie Batch-Making!**

I had to substitute my usual monthly Pomegranate Powder for this alternative brand because mine was out of stock for the first time ever... I now have permanently switched to this one! Even though it 'looks' cheaper (pertaining to it's packaging's appearance; graphics), it is actually rather good quality - plus, I get more in this pack; and there isn't an annoying heat-sealed bag within the grip-seal bag that I have to cut the corner off of and have a messy bag! It is just directly contained within the bag, and it is very nice - perfect colour, tastes natural, and doesn't 'taint' my large 2-day batches which I prepare in bulk. I love the beneficial properties of pomegranate - of which there is a wealth of... so I will always ensure that my 50+ ingredients smoothie-batches contain ample quantities of Pomegranate powder (bare minimum, at least pure pomegranate juice). Powdered versions 'keep' a lot better and don't turn sour over the course of a month, of course, so it is exceptionally ideal for smoothies! I can't find any inconsistencies, nor any foreign matter within the pouch/es, and the packaging is properly sealed, without defects/damage. I definitely recommend this product, if not for taste, than for the nutritional + beneficial qualities/properties & medicinal aids it provides... a very 'worthy' ingredient indeed! (Taste is not the main reason for purchasing this - it does little to enhance flavour in such large batches with over 50+ ingredients, so beneficial properties are the priority here!.. Just to be clear!).
