Worth It
Inherited Selected Mom of Aloe I had watched a gift take hold in dirt. I had switch the pot when the pot wasn't large enough. It took years. Moved to the desert, she was a giant as I had to repot her again and she grew again. The cold conditions taught me about the plant in its lack of hardiness for that environment. Her cellular walls of great strength to her soft flesh had ruptured turning her into a goo. She had handed off babies, part of herself whom were apart of her until repotting. I was most grateful and mournful. Her largest self outgrew her previous self within two years compared to five - 7 years. How did she do it so quickly? Potting, but what is the big deal... the nutrients in the dirt. plant food is the big deal and the difference between potting or not potting but nutrients in the pot added can also cause toxicity... but... within the years to come i was introduced to a fruit tree accidently revisiting the fruit trees from decades again that no longer supplied fruit planted by my grandfathers (five gen family alive rarity.) The plants were unable to supply fruit because they didn't have nutrients in soil. Liquid plant food is likely more like an energy drink to the roots whereas those solid likely lasts longer as the rain breaks it down for the plant over time. I watched my fruit tree noting the differences through the years, noted the yields, tasted the difference, and benefitted in health as those fruits had strengthened in vitamins and minerals. We take care of each other, and we paid each other. The solid ones are more challenging to put in the ground so I like to wait until after it rains or would suggest soaking the area before creating the wedge and hammering it in to the best of your ability with consideration to the mower. Mind the other trees near by, always better to have same family of trees else they fight over nutrients which also improve strength of both neighbors in variations. I had fed the other tree as well one year but couldn't the next year due abilities. The other flowering plants produced well and beautifully. It's well worth the effort, highly suggest, and it's affordable without burning the plant with the add water plant food mixes.

I've bought these before and will again. I've seen a noticeable difference in the health and growth of our relatively new hemlock trees. I don't try to pound them in anymore. I take a gardener's spade and open a space to put them down. It's made a difference in the effectiveness. Recommended.

Good feeder
It a great way to feed tree! Used several years now, but you must moisture the ground to get spike in easier. Need a hammer claw to retetive the plastic cap.

Excellent product! Place 30" from the tree to see great results
Arrived on time and in perfect order. Nothing damaged or any chipped pieces whatsoever. I placed the included red plastic cap on each stake and hammered with a rubber mallet. I'm sure a regular hammer would work also, but be careful because while driving them into the ground, the plastic cap has a tendency to come off with each strike. I'm using these on a group of Japanese Holly Sky Pencil evergreens, planted several years ago. It was a harsh winter, and I see some slight browning on some of the leaves, so I'm just providing them a boost for the growing season. I can vouch for these, but PLEASE PLACE THEM 30 INCHES from the tree you're fertilizing. Sorry for the caps LOL but that is the most important thing here to see results. Love your trees and they will love your back. It brings me great joy to see them healthy, green and reaching for the sky
