Just plain amazing
I bought one of these in 2016 and use it daily. I recently bought a second one for when I work in an office away from home. This product could not be better. I don't say that about many things. If you want your standard can of soda to stay cold this is excellent. It is a double-walled steel vessel. Think of it as being like the best camping thermos you've used. Because that's essentially what it is. The vacuum between the two walls is an incredible insulator. I bet most of the warming comes from the open top and not the sides or bottom of the can. My usage goes like this. I drink diet soda all day. I'll slip one in this and screw down the top. Which has a flexible rubber air seal to keep air from slipping down the sides of the can. And keeps it from rattling around. Once I open the can I may nurse it for an hour or more. I would estimate that my soda keeps cold for at least an hour. Not ice cold. Of course it gradually warms. But cold enough to retain fizz and flavor. It's usually still below room temperature right to my last sip. I don't think I've ever dropped this on a hard surface before. I imagine it could get very dented if I did. Looking at it now I can't see any scratches or dents in it at all. I imagine I could use this beast as a weapon if I had to. I've used plastic with foam and some other types of can coolers before. None worked anywhere near as well as this. Yes it costs more but it is totally worth the cost for me. I'd love to see Yeti try integrating a small thermoelectric element into one of these to keep my soda cool indefinitely. The great insulation plus a tiny thermopile could be a perfect marriage. Just give me a charging plate to plug into a USB port or wall socket. When I set the Yeti down on the charging plate the thermopile kicks in. The outer layer of steel gets warm. The inner layer gets cool. Voila. The goofy collectible can thing they include is a waste of material. I wonder if most people throw it out like I did. Save me a buck or two. Skip it. Small quirk for an otherwise incredible product.

When suddenly my friend pulled one of these bad boys out
I had recently had gone to the beach with a couple of friends of mine. When suddenly my friend pulled one of these bad boys out. I looked over to my wife and told her that i had been looking at them and almost bought one and didn't. She surprised me a few weeks ago with one. I feel in love with it instantly. It keeps beer cold even in direct contact with the sun. Watch out though the colster gets kinda hot but the drink inside stays cold. Its because its double insulated. Ive used it pool side and left it under a umbrella in the hot California summer sun. And i was surprised how cold my drink stayed. This thing can hold glass bottles but the top tip part of the boittle will stick out.obviously. Mine came with the yeti soda pop can. Which can be used as a stash can. To hide whatever you need to hide. Yeah you are thinking to yourself "why do i need a 30 dollar coozie. Because you do. And it will keep your stuff COLD all summer long. This thing is perfect for when you want to "sip" on a beer without having it get warm on you. Like i said you will be surprised how long it will keep your stuff cold. This thing is Perfect for when your working around the house, in the yard, or if your at the beach or the lake, its awesome. And also it adds weight and mass to your drink so you will be less likely to tip it over and spill it. No more sand getting stuck to the condensation of your cold beer at the beach. Since this colster keeps all the moister inside. You simply brush the sand or dirt of the colster and pound your drink down. Worth the cash if your outdoors a lot and or a beer guy or girl.

6 year review
I bought this in 2018 and I use it every day, all day. I learned long ago that I won’t hydrate like a normal person on regular water. My hack is to drink sparkling water, sometimes made by me, sometimes out of a can. Some days I will go through 4-8 cans of sparkling water, and this Yeti greatly enhances that experience. Water stays colder for much longer, and unscientifically it feels like it stays carbonated longer. It also looks the same as the day I bought it. Since the only things it touches are my hands and my desk, I almost never need to clean it. I’ve put it through the dishwasher maybe once a year, but have rarely had to hand wash it. It’s my best and most used piece of EDC, and is hugely recommended to anyone who goes through cans like I do.

Genuine, authentic Yeti product!
Great product at a great price! Fits all standard 12 oz. cans and bottles. This is a genuine, authentic Yeti product. Scanning the 3D barcode on the included product label / documentation with a smartphone will take you directly to the Yeti website to register the product for warrantee purposes. This coozie will keep a beer cold for at least an hour in sunny 80° weather. Seriously, I noticed no difference in the temperature of my beer in the course of the hour I was sipping on it. And anyone who says this doesn't fit a standard 12 oz. can is flat-out wrong. The screw-down collar on the top is a tight fit. It takes some effort to get it to stretch to the diameter of the can and then to screw it down, but it has to be this way to make it airtight and an effective insulator.

Lamborghini of collie cups
I have become a Yeti fan...owing a Roadie and a Hopper 30. I figured it was time to try the Colster. From my experience, it really does the job. I get it may be a bit steep to pay $30-$40 for essentially what is a coolie cup, that is a decision only you can make, but I will tell you, it flat out works. There are plenty of youtube videos you can check out on tests done to prove my point. I generally use mine for beer...ok, I've only used mine for beer. I don't sip my beer so I don't usually have "keep my beer cold" problems. But there are occasions when my beer would have an opportunity to warm more then usual. For example, enjoying a burger or two at a tail-gate pregame. Or by the pool on a hot summer day. Maybe playing softball and you have to set your beer down to go play defense? This is the Lamborghini of coolie cups. It is high quality and it keeps your beverage colder, longer. You will love this Colster. One side note, it does come with a Yeti can that looks like a real can, but the top pops off. I'm not sure of it's purpose or what to use it for, but it is kind of cool in it's own right.

Amazing!
Great product! We bought several years ago to keep our drinks cold at the pool. We liked them so much, sent two to friends in Florida to use at the beach and they loved them too. Drinks stay cold for a very long time and they are almost indestructible.

Over-Engineered For a Reason
What is there to say? It's a YETI! I live in AZ and this is the best coozie I've ever used. Poolside in 100+ degree days it will keep your beer (or soda) cold for longer than it takes to drink, even if you're just sipping it. I actually set mine down for over an hour in the direct sun. When I came back I expected to have to toss it and get a fresh one but it was still nice and cold. Amazing and effective. They are pricey, but if you want to keep your beer cold, this is the cooler, no doubt. I also added a wrap (sold separately) for a few bucks just to add some style and keep mine easily recognizable. Don't want them walking away "by accident..."

Pretty effective but heavy and marred by aggressive logo
This is about as effective as anything I've found in keeping drink cans cold. It's not perfect, but it's dramatically more effective than leaving the can out. As long as the holder isn't exposed to direct sunlight or really high heat the drink will still seem cold for as long as an hour, I find, and distinctly cool for another hour. It's also reasonably good looking and will fit in a cup holder. Two drawbacks: The maker's logo embossed in large letters on the side, and weight. I really dislike having to pay money for the privilege of advertising a brand, and the way it's done makes the holder less comfortable to hold. And it weighs more than half a pound: 8.5 oz (240 g). Of course the good news about the weight is that it should be durable.
