Worth the expense!
Excellent bread, health-wise and taste-wise.

Great Texture, Bland Flavor
If you enjoy grainy bread, this loaf will provide substantial texture for your toast, sandwiches, etc. It did not get soggy from butter or other moist spreads. However, the slices are bland. I can't imagine how tasteless the no-salt version must be.

This bread has perfect complexity while maintaining a great texture for sandwiches or as a side. The balance of fat, proteins and nutrients makes it our go-to. Delivery is fresh and without issue. The bread freezes very well without loss of taste or texture.

Great bread but to pricey
I absolutely love this bread and also their buns. I have been ordering straight from their store for a few years. I went to place an order yesterday and saw that they had raised their prices from $2.79 to$4.99. I excepted this because I’m sure their cost has gone up as well. However, I was shocked to find out the shipping was $35 dollars for 6 loaves! That works out to $11.22 for 1 small loaf of bread!! I’m sorry, but that crazy! I do love it so I’m looking for a new place to purchase. Local stores that carry it only sale plain wheat or sourdough and no buns. I do highly recommend if you can afford the price. 4

New "softer" is vile - they ruined their product
The original recipe for this bread was amazing. Outstanding bread, dense but not hard, packed with great ingredients. Then some genius decided to take out most of the goodness, and turn it into average or below average brown bread. And try to spin it as "NOW SOFTER"!!! You can see from how the bread looks that they stripped out the quality. How to destroy your own brand in one easy step. Was HUGELY disappointing, and left a horrible aftertaste. I threw it in the trash. ALVARADO IF YOU READ THESE REVIEWS PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL RECIPE.
