Excellent pair of pliers
I have been using these pliers primarily for agricultural fencing, and have found them overall, to be excellent—-the feature for gripping an item, end on, was very useful in manipulating and twisting tie wire

Good Grips
These grips were recommended to me, and I have to say that they do save a lot of messing if you're working in a place with limited space - like under a sink. Yes, I would recommend to others.

A different type of plier. Great quality
Usual good quality from Knipex. I haven't had much chance to use them for their intended specialist purpose yet but they look and feel great. I can see them coming in really handy and are a great addition to my tools.

Where ordinary pliers fear to tread
I couldn't believe how useful these pliers were until I came up with two very stubborn Phillips screws I had to remove from an external wall. Neither screwdriver nor ordinary pliers could budge them, and I was thinking of resorting to cutting them off with a multi-tool until I had a go with these Knipex pliers. Where the ordinary pliers would simply slip off the screw head, I was amazed that the Knipex managed to hold on and with a little extra grip and wrist action, I managed to undo the screws. Job done!

I saw these pliers on a guitar builders website. I build guitars to donate for veteran’s programs. The pliers are adjustable and great for using as regular pliers. The real benefit is that they have a round opening in the jaws that allows you to grab and hold small round objects. They are great for removing a bolt or screw that the head has broken off and vice grips aren’t an option. They are top quality German steel and should last a long time!

This tool at the tip of the jaws is something like two 3-position slip joint Snap On long nose pliers sandwiching a compromise between Vampliers/Engineer/Fujita screw extraction pliers and a full hex sockets set. This is better than them in some ways: it's got 5 width positions instead of Snap On's 3, a push button to lock into position, and the screw extraction part could handle larger screws or bolts than the average screw extraction pliers. Of course in some ways, it's not quite as great as them: the Snap On long nose pliers' "talon grip," longer jaws and width when in the 3rd position give them a slight advantage. The Snap On also has small cutters (that reportedly cannot cut stranded wire), and this TwinGrip has no cutters, giving the Snap On a slight advantage there too. My Fujita screw extractor pliers can grip and extract some screws that this Knipex can't. And hex sockets completely surround their workpiece whereas the Knipex TwinGrip grabs 2 opposite corners and parts of four sides. Sockets could get into some spots that the TwinGrip cannot, of course. Nevertheless, that is some pretty awesome versatility in just the tip of this one tool. I noticed one reviewer complained of the side-to-side play in the jaw of his TwinGrip; mine has less than 1 mm of play. For 4 inches of pliers past the handles, that's pretty good. Just past the tip, the jaws have a wire or nail holder. Nice. Just after that, it has a "Cobra" type V jaw. Only 5 width positions rather than however many on the Cobra or other "waterpump" pliers, but this will get into certain tight places which that style of pliers cannot. After that, it's got that extra space for holding long straight work pieces. The comfort grip is quite comfortable, and unlike many slip joint pliers, it would not be easy to pinch your finger in these. These pliers are extremely strong, extremely versatile, as a bonus nice to look at, and a real bargain for just $50 CAD.
