Burgess Excel Indoor Guinea Pig Nuggets, 1.5 kg

My guinea pigs love these nuggets, after previously being on Harringtons we could not find a substitute that they liked after being discontinued, however these are apparently very tasty! My girls are all very healthy on these nuggets, and they have a much better size than the Science Selective nuggets which have been known to cause choking. One bag lasts me about 3 weeks with 4 guinea pigs, my biggest issue is that they don’t sell these in bigger bags

My little herd have this as a top up treat to their standard Excel guinea food. Different flavour & texture so it gives them variety. Noticed a difference in fur softness, doesn't allow selective eating & it's good value for money. Would be helpful to have this indoor kept guinea version in larger size

I bought this to try with my two fussy guinea pigs to try as an alternative to their usual pellets (science selective grain free), particularly to encourage one of them to eat a little more as he needs to gain some weight following illness. I haven’t completely changed over but just add a little of these to their existing pellets for variety. It’s a good size bag, and competitively priced. My guinea pigs both seem to enjoy the taste, and I’m reasonably happy with the ingredients. I would prefer if there was a grain free option, but I appreciate the thought that has gone into creating this product specifically for indoor piggies, and the ingredients used for targeted health benefits.

Decent sized bag and reasonably priced, good quality nuggets that my 2 guinea pigs absolutely love! Highly recommend!

These are great quality nuggets and were a fair price; delivered promptly too.

My Guinea piggies loves the rosemary version. So they were sad when I couldn’t find that anymore and bought them the oregano version. I bought this one Which had their favourite dandelion in. They like this one more than the oregano. Plus the quality and nugget sizes appear and smell better. Other nuggets sometimes just look a bit too similar to their poop and I don’t blame them to not liking the appearance of other flavours available.

My five guinea pigs.....indoor ones....just love this product and have been eating it for a long time. The price from Amazon is very reasonable. The nuggets and their ingredients are of good quality and are clearly very tasty. I would recommend it to any guinea pig owner.

I’ve only offered some to them once, but they seemed to enjoy them!! My 2 boys are quite picky when it comes to food so I’m glad they enjoy it so far. Remember that all guinea pigs are different though- some may love it whilst some may hate it!! Also remember not to fully transition food too quickly if this is a new feed for your pigs, make sure you mix it with their previous feed so that it’s a smoother transition for them :)
