We’ve had such a great experience with Chicco! The installation was incredibly easy and straightforward, which made a huge difference, especially as a busy parent who doesn’t want to second guess if everything is set up correctly. The seat itself is super comfortable and well padded, and my child seems genuinely happy riding in it. What really stands out to me, though, is the overall feeling of safety. This car seat is very comfortable for my baby, he enjoys car rides much more now that he has more room and sits a little higher than the infant car seat. It has plenty of room for growth. The straps are easy to adjust. The car seat is easy to install. My favorite thing about these car seats are that they are made with clear tex materials, meaning the material is already flame retardant without any added chemicals to make the seat flame retardant.

We had a similar seat for the older 2 kids and had a great experience with them, so we bought this updated version for the youngest kid. Consumer report also rated this seat well, plus it was one of the lower priced seats, made it more enticing for us. The quality is very good and the latch installation process takes 2 minutes. The only gripe I had was that you can't adjust the tilt once you install it rear-facing. Not a huge deal as once you adjust it, you'll just leave it. This seat came with extra padding for newborn and younger babies, and the there are numerous belt adjustments you can make as the baby grows. It is, however, a heavy seat, but you typically don't need to move it once it's installed. We also like the versatility that it turns into a front facing booster once the baby is ready for it, and we won't need to buy another booster seat.

I'm not sure how it fits a newborn but I got a great install for a 1 year old. Much better fitting than the Graco DLX. Heavy and sturdy. Easy to adjust the straps, latch, and headrest. Easy to use. Fairly easy to clean compared to other seats on the market.

Heavy duty well constructed car seat. A bit heavier than expected but very sturdy. Buckles and clamps work fine and secure tightly in car. I'd recommend it.

This is the carseat everyone should purchase. We have tried, Baby Trend, Graco, Safety 1st and now Chicco. It is the only one that fully securely hooks in the car. The harness system adjusts so smoothly. It is well padded. The cup holders securely hook into place. In addition It has a sleek looking appearance. Don't waste your time on any other brand. Save yourself frustration and buy Chicco. Side note, it is a bit heavy.
