All I had to do was oil the neck, put new strings on it, and tune it. It is by far the best Epiphone "inspired by Gibson" made! There is no need to switch out the pickups, They're amazing! With the new electronics they put in these, You've got a "Rock God" guitar right out of the box!

I played and recorded with this guitar for about 2 hours after pulling it from the package. It plays and sounds great. Setup seems fine out of the box minus the strings it comes with. Will be changing those immediately. The hardware seems like standard epiphany but the middle knob is a little loose and falls off with the slightest bump but I already planned to replace those. Tuners are fairly smooth for stock but I wouldn’t say they are great. Unfortunately, I immediately noticed some cosmetic damage on the tip of the horn as soon as I pulled it out of the packaging. There was not damage to the boxes and the guitar was sufficiently protected for shipping, so I assume this guitar was damaged when it was sent and should have been sold as player grade and not new/mint. I would say that if you get an unblemished/mint guitar, this is a good value and correctly priced. However, due to the blemish, I feel I did overpay for this slightly.

Strumento: Peso e bilanciamento meraviglioso, suona che è un piacere, chiara e definita oltre al feeling sul manico. Arrivato con setup perfetto tra regolazione truss rod, action e intonazione, nessun tasto che “frigge”. Il setup vale quella piccola differenza di prezzo tra music store ed altri retailers (anzi, in realtà è un risparmio). Unica nota in corrispondenza di alcuni frets (non pochi) c’era della sporcizia tipo un residuo colloso secco non meglio identificato. Sparito con olio di limone e un po’ di sfregamento. Il manico era anche un po’ secco quindi comunque andava oliato ma niente di insormontabile. Spedizione: La spedizione un vero disastro! Il corriere mi ha procurato un infarto e un’incazzatura non da poco che, mea culpa, ho scaricato sul negozio (personale estremamente gentile e professionale che non se lo meritava). Consegna stimata 11/12 giugno. Il 13 risulta consegnato ma del pacco nessuna traccia. Panico, 700€ di strumento spariti nel nulla. Il giorno dopo contatto il corriere che mi comunica che la consegna risulta effettuata a un nome che non mi dice nulla e peggiora il mio mood. solo a fine giornata mi comunicano che per un errore del corriere risultava il pacco consegnato ma che era tornato al deposito. morale della favola, consegna il 17 con una settimana di ritardo rispetto al previsto. peraltro, l'unica (veramente l'unica) critica che devo muovere al negozio è che su una spesa del genere la spedizione non fosse inclusa. Per un servizio che ho pagato, è assurdo che sia andata così. la verità è che se non ci fossero stati problemi con il corriere 5 stelle le avrei anche date ma io non mi sentirei proprio di ritentare la sorte riordinando da da questo store se non cambia spedizioniere (cosa che purtroppo non è possibile conoscere prima di ordinare) e di conseguenza non posso consigliare ad altri l’esperienza. Edit: articolo pagato 698,50€. Ora a 550, va bene il setup ma 150€ di differenza non me li spiego!
