Credit where credit is due
This set is high quality and works great. I tried 2 other sets for a bolt that was stuck in an intake and they failed. this set has so many sizes that you can choose the size for how bad the head is rounded. Original 8 mm bolt needed the 7.5mm extractor and it came right out. Very good set for when you run into the dreaded stripped bolt head.

Very valuable tool when you need it!
I had been replacing two wheel hubs on a 1999 Suburban (three bolts per hub) and I found out that the bolts heads had been rounded by the last shop that I paid to replace the hubs while on a trip to Florida a few years ago. I was able to remove all but one of the bolts on the first hub and I decided to order these extractors to get the last bolt out. I had soaked the bolt with penetrant for a few days, I used heat and everything I could think of. When these extractors came in, I tapped it on the rounded head of the bolt with a hammer and then with a two foot breaker bar, I was able to break the bolt free. The extractor socket that I used showed no deforming in shape or any damage that I could see. I ended up needed these extractors on the other wheel hub too. These extractor sockets are round (like regular sockets) and that is what I needed to reach the bolt heads, because you have to go through a hole in the flange of the wheel hub to reach the bolts. Some extractors will fit on a ratchet and they also have a hex head if you want to use a wrench on the extractor, I would not have been able to use that type, because those sockets are too big to fit through the access hole in the flange of the wheel hub. These extractors were exactly what I needed, and they worked perfectly.

Does the job, hammer them on first
Love the variety of sizing, did what I needed on a rounded differential bolt, doesn't seem to be chinesium, maybe a few grades above? As little as I use these they're perfect when I need one. Home and hobby grade for sure, I would buy better or multiple sets for a shop or trade usage.

LifeSaver!!!!!!!
What a lifesaver. I'm working on my wife's 2012 Journey and the small 8mm valve cover bolts were rusted and 3 were rounded off and in places I'm not getting to very easily, what do you do? Buy this item overnight shipping 49.99 plus tax so many sizes included, took 5 seconds and bolts came off easy. I used the 8mm socket and the 7.8mm socket and they worked. I like how it has odd sizes I've never seen a 7.8mm socket before. Serious gamechanging tool to have lying around. 100000% satisfied can't believe I didn't buy years ago!!!!!

OMG!! Total game changer. They actually worked like a charm. Removed in minutes 4 bolts and two nuts that I had spent two days working on. Was initially skeptical because these are considerably cheaper than name brand equivalents, but totally worked out, on exhaust bolts to boot!

I should’ve bought these years ago, saved me from so much grief with rounded nuts and bolts. A must have in any mechanics tool chest. The extractor kit is of good quality.

Saved my butt countless times working on a rusty old 4runner. The bits grip really well and have been used multiple times without losing their edge.

Easily removed seized bolts. Presoaking or preheat the first. Gently tap the bit onto the seized bolts and use a wrench.

Used a couple of time and works well. Not sure on using an impact, just used ratchet.
