Great product. Easy DIY upgrade.
Great product at very affordable price. This is made with thin brittle plastic. So be careful. Lots of filter area to protect D box and drain field. I used the plastic insert as I used traditional drain pipe.

Septic to leach field filter
My original baffle wall was damaged on my septic tank. After some research I found this item on the internet and just love how it works. It has a removable screen that you can clean and put back in. They make two lengths so make sure you buy the right length for your tank.

Beware of the insert included!
I like that the filter seems well designed and that the filter can come out of the housing with relative ease. It can also receive a piece of 1'2" pvc pipe to extend the handel so you can avoid getting your hands in the sewage water if it get plugged and the water level gets higher than the top of the housing. I was perplexed for a while when I tried to match up the filter to the ABS pipe going to my drainfield, it didn't seem to fit until I found out the insert was already installed in the housing. The insert is given to fill the gap if you have a thin walled pipe.
