These boots are awesome!!! I had a pair like these, until the hospital threw them out on my last stay. They replaced them with some cheapies, they hurt my feet too much to wear them, like rubber bands that were way too tight! I haven't slept well until I bought these!! I felt like I had nails in my heels!! They kept me up all night! Amazon seems to have just about everything…and they had these! They seemed to resemble my old ones!! Instant pain relief! They are lightweight, comfortable as a pair of well worn slippers!! What's not to like? I think that the price is reasonable for the quality. A small price to pay!! I highly recommend!

These were purchased for my husband who is 92 and a invalid. He needed protection at night to prevent ulcers on his feet. I was concerned about the velcro closing. I had a previous pair that had a longer tab for fastening and it was much too long and would have caused too much trouble with fastening. So I returned them, thank you Amazon, and ordered these. Much more easier to open and close. Just the right amount of tab for securing. He has worn them for about two weeks and no complaints. They don't seem to be bothering his sleep and his feet aren't rubbing together. He has about a 13 inch foot but they are narrow and not swollen. Very bony feet. I would think if a foot had a lot of swelling this particular boot wouldn't fasten satisfactory. It seems to be a nice fabic with good padding. We are both very pleased with them.

I purchased the heel protectors for my elderly father who has recently become bedridden. He was complaining about his heel “burning” and keeping him awake. It has been a challenge keeping his heels apart to prevent pressure ulcers because his legs involuntarily contract so anything that was placed between his heels would be pushed out. These heel protectors work great for him. His heels are no longer red and they prevent the burning sensation.

Very soft, and warm. Perfect for my 93yo mother.

The opening for the heel is too large and there is not enough soft padding on the back panel to keep the heel off the bed.

I thought these were 2 booties way too expensive for just one boot . I didn't read the quality was mostly reading tge reviews but overall it's a very cozy protective booty.. Now I have to order a second one. I bought it fir an old friend who recently was placed in a nursing home and his family abandoned him he has no one . I'm a single mum but his feet really need the boot and no one checks for the poor old guy. I guess it's my fault for not reading through properly. Nice booty though will recommend but too pricy.

This item is so soft and comfortable. I also use it to hold an ice pack on my heel.
