Best protein powder I’ve used — mixes like a dream, tastes solid, delivers results
I’ve been using Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey for about two months now, and it’s genuinely one of the few supplements I can say I’m really happy with. The first thing that won me over is how effortlessly it mixes. Whether I shake it up in water, stir it into milk, or blend it into a smoothie, there are almost no clumps, no weird gritty bits, just smooth protein every time. That kind of reliability in texture is rare, and it makes taking it feel less like a chore and more like a treat. Taste-wise, the Double Rich Chocolate flavour has become my go-to. It’s rich without being sickly sweet. There’s enough chocolate flavour that I enjoy it straight after workout, but it doesn’t dominate the drink or leave that chemical aftertaste that some powders do. For those days when I want something milder, mixing it with almond milk or adding a splash of cocoa powder gives it a satisfying twist. Performance has been equally impressive. Since adding it to my post-gym routine, I’ve noticed my recovery times are better. My muscles ache less the next day, and I seem to maintain energy a bit more consistently through intense workouts. Also, the macros are solid, 24g protein per scoop, very low sugar and fat, so it helps me hit my goals without feeling like I’m sacrificing flavour or comfort. If there’s anything to critique, it’s that it does contain artificial sweeteners, which bother some people. Also, in very sensitive stomachs, the whey concentrate portion may cause minor bloating if taken on an empty stomach. But for me, those downsides are very minor compared to everything this powder tends to excel at. All in all, this has become a staple for my training days, mornings, and even baking recipes when I need a protein boost. If you want a reliable, tasty, mixable whey that actually seems to help, this is definitely one to grab.

My Ultimate Protein Powder Obsession!
I recently started using the Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey Protein in Chocolate Peanut Butter, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! This protein powder not only tastes fantastic but also mixes well with both water and milk, creating a smooth and enjoyable shake. One of the things I appreciate most is the high-quality ingredients. With naturally occurring glutamine and amino acids, I feel confident that I’m fueling my body with what it needs for muscle recovery and grow. Since I started incorporating this protein into my routine, I’ve noticed a significant boost in my energy levels and overall performance during workouts. The chocolate peanut butter flavor is indulgent without being overly sweet — it’s like a treat after a workout! Overall, I highly recommend Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey Protein to anyone looking for a reliable, delicious protein source that delivers on its promises. It’s become a staple in my diet, and I can't imagine training without it!

Flavour is on point!
I’m quite picky when it comes to protein flavours but damn that peanut butter aftertaste is really good. It mixes well and money wise is ok.

Incredible value for money - 2.3kg / 5lbs
A very safe, but also an incredibly solid choice for protein. A 30g serving gives you 24g of protein with very little carbs and fat - all under 120kcals. What I like most about ON's whey however, is that it includes generous 5.5g of BCAAs. That's what makes the price/value go out of the roof. After an hour of digging through internet, I was really surprised to find out that a lot of big names in the industry don't include BCAAs in their wheys. Even if they do, often times it's a laughable amount. I've been using ON's whey for quite some time and I've never had a bad experience in terms of flavour or mixability. That goes for chocolate, chocolate hazelnut, chocolate peanut butter, extreme chocolate, vanilla and french vanilla.

When you choose the right flavour for you, you'll love it
I've been using this for two and a half years now and I still love it. It mixes well with water for an efficient hit, or milk if you want something more substantial. With milk it's exactly like having a milkshake. Usually I'll have two scoops mixed with water in a morning, soaked into about 100g of oats, before bed I'll often have two scoops with water, or milk if I'm especially hungry. For the most part I've had the Double Rich Chocolate flavour - this was delicious but I got bored after a couple of years. I'm now on the Chocolate Peanut Butter flavour and it's even better - I look forward to it every morning. The same can't be said for the Caramel Toffee Fudge flavour which I didn't look forward to. It had an artificial smell and taste to it that made me switch back to chocolate as soon as I could. If you find the flavour for you it's best to stick with it. I'd love it if there were some sort of mixed sampling deal available, so I could try new flavours without risking being stuck with one I'm not keen on for a month or two. This is an Amazon best-seller for a reason - it's a great product and an incredible price. I saw a 908g tub on the high street for the same price Amazon charges for a 2.27kg tub, so I won't be shopping elsewhere any time soon.

The best protien i have ever tasted
The best protien i have ever tasted. Hands down. I have tried many different protien powders such as Grande Hydra 6, My protien, PHD Diet whey and so on and ON Whey is the best of the bunch. This is solely down to the taste and mix-ability of the product. It has no grainy texture, super smooth and taste is sensational. Chocolate peanut butter is the dogs knackers!! At £40 odd and free delivery on Prime this is the cheapest place to buy this product. Highly recommend, i promise you wont look for another protien.
