Boston Basic Cutlery Set (60-Piece)

This cutlery set is exactly what I was looking for. Very straight lines without any swirls or other decoration. Looks very elegant in person and feels great in your hands when you hold it and eat with it. Love the quality as well.

High quality set that boasts with the sleek and modern design. Cromargan stainless steel is highly resistant . It’s also dishwasher-safe, which makes it practical for daily use. There’s nothing negative about this beautiful flatware set.

I really like this set, good value for the money. Yes, it is a lighter weight set than the classic Nuova line that covers everything from specialty and serving utensils to full table dining ware, but for a good, everyday, 12-person, basic flatware set it is an exceptional value. The knives are well weighted and one piece design, the dinner forks and soup spoons are well balanced in the hand, if a bit light, and the salad fork and coffee spoon, while smaller than many may like, are still functional and very much in the normal size range of European flatware, where the small spoon is for coffee and not cereal. Finish is highly polished.

Daily use. Bought a set 27 yrs ago on Germany and still in great shape. That’s why I bought it for my son as a gift, knowing it’s good quality!

We have had WMF flatware for many years and have appreciated the high quality of the company's products. Unfortunately, the current pattern we have long ago went out of production and the cost of replacement spoons and dessert forks through Replacements Inc had become prohibitive. So, we went online and looked over the current cutlery sets for a replacement. We settled on the Boston pattern, ordered over the weekend, and the package arrived on Tuesday, September 9. Two things stood out immediately. First, the flatware is thin and insubstantial when compared to what we currently have. Second, the dessert forks and teaspoons are ridiculously undersized. Attn: WMF design team - Most Americans don't need 12 lilliputian forks and 12 espresso spoons. We're sending back the set and starting over in our search. Sadly, it appears no current WMF cutlery set has properly sized dessert forks and teaspons, no matter what the price point.

Be careful, the item itself has a stamp as “EW 80 T”, I presume it’s the grade of the steel, if it is, it’s not as description 18/10, that’s why so many comments are complaining about the weight of the cutlery. And EW 80 T steel will consider as non food grade metal.

The product is excellent, but it's weakly attracted to magnets. I don't know if this is a feature or a flaw

Sono molti i fattori che mi hanno spinto a scegliere questo set di posate, tolta la bellezza ed il design indiscusso, l'acciaio 18/10 Cromargan è il vero plus di questo servizio. Eccezionale nella sua brillantezza, studiato per resistere nel tempo e perfetto per i lavaggi frequenti in lavastoviglie. La luce che emana quando sistemato nella mise en place è meravigliosa e può aumentare notevolmente la percezione della tavola nei commensali. Il peso calibrato di ogni singolo pezzo lo rendono maneggevole e sicuro da usare in ogni occasione. La cosa che mi ha colpito è stata l'affilatura dei coltelli con sistema a seghetto, decisamante il punto dolente di molti altri servizi. WMF è un brand tedesco molto ricercato per i suoi prodotti in acciaio, le sue linee di pentole di design sono qualcosa di incredibile, così come gli elettrodomestici per la cucina realizzati con materie di prima qualità. Sono pienamente soddisfatto di questo acquisto che consiglio vivamante.
