Very impressed with this purchase , not only does it look great it works amazingly well and I now can have my windows open on these warm summer evenings without the worry of being bitten or stung by the summer nasties that are so easily attracted to the lights within your home, I chose the option that includes a light sensor which has been wonderful, I can just leave it plugged in with the auto function switched on , so it turns itself on and on in the hours that you need it most to protect your home and yourself from unwanted nasties. It is so easy to use and there is no set up required , just plug and go. I was very impressed by the quality and build of this item , it also is very easy to clean with the collection tray located at the base and the slim line cleaning brush which is also included, this has made such a difference to my comfort this summer and I highly recommend to anyone that likes leaving their windows open in the evenings, and with its multi spectrum light it attracts and eliminates all from flies to mosquitoes, midges, moths and more, and it does so with a very satisfying "ZAP". Great Value for money.

This is a well designed great looking lamp and very sturdy, but most importantly it does the job of killing off all kinds of flies ! I had a fruit fly and then drain fly infestation in the kitchen after Xmas, and they were multiplying rapidly . Fly killer spray did not help at all the little critters seemed indestructible . Thankfully after a week of having the plugged in day and night on my kitchen the flies have practically been eradicated . I used the gecko lamp along side , cleaning out the kitchen pipes , and drains twice a day , keeping all the plugs covered and finished them off with an insect bomb . It was all a bit stressful but after a crazy they have more or less been killed off and I ‘ll keep up pouring boiling water and the eco drain cleaning product down the drains every week from now on

Left this on in my kitchen for a few days.... no victims found... returned... would probably work well at night when the light can draw insects to it, but not effective during the day when you have loads of fly's.

After experiencing what can only be described as an invasion of super invincible fruit flies, I purchased this lamp in desperation! I tried the humane jar trap method, the yellow stickers on the windows and things that go in the plants … limited success. This lamp is the business! The light attracts them and a buzz and a zap - exterminated! (The noise is a bit of a shock at first). I am extremely pleased with its effectiveness and would recommend.

This only attracted and killed about half of the flying insects in the room. It did work when the insect flew into the electric bars. It was easy to clean using the supplied brush and the unscrewing the bottom collection tray made emptying easy. It worked for about nine months and then broke.

I wasn’t sure about this product when reading the reviews, as some say it didn’t work. I’ve had this for two weeks now and we’ve gone from lots of horrible blue bottles & midges flying around the kitchen and living room (because of leaving windows open in this wonderful summer weather), to none at all!!! The insects make quite a loud crack when they hit the device. Sometimes we don’t even find them in the tray after we’ve heard the crack-we think they get obliterated!!! Looks quite nice too. Really enjoy having the windows open and being insect free. We leave it on overnight. Just A little disappointed that the blurb on the site said it was rechargeable- it’s not. But that being said, I can take a star off as it does work well.

Really good zapper, kept my place clear of all flying, biting things and moths. Good quality build. I think the spiders have moved out too due to lack of food so an added bonus 😆

Le zapper est arrivé à temps très bien emballé et avec des instructions claires. Je l'ai fait fonctionner en une demi-heure. La version que je possède dispose de 3 réglages, éteint en permanence, allumé en permanence et sensible à la lumière ce qui signifie qu'elle s'allume automatiquement à la tombée de la nuit. Je l'ai d'abord allumé en permanence car c'était l'après-midi. Même en plein jour, il attirait et zappait les petites horreurs. Je l'ai mis en mode sensible à la lumière pour le soir/nuit et le zapping a continué. Un son sadique mais agréable ! Il est trop tôt pour mesurer la fiabilité ou la durée de vie de l'ampoule, mais les premières impressions sont que c'est exactement ce dont nous avons besoin. Pour nous, un effet secondaire agréable est qu'elle fait également office de très bonne veilleuse.

Wir haben dieses Gerät wegen einer Fruchtfliegenplage angeschafft. Uns war damals wichtig, dass wir nichts mit Gift verwenden, aber die Fruchtfliegen mussten weg. Das Gerät ist sehr effektiv. In der Nacht glüht es bläulich, wie ein Atomreaktor. Diese Power hat es wahrscheinlich auch, denn es ist laut! Mich stört es nicht, denn dann weiß ich, dass der Killer wieder zugeschlagen hat. Gegen Mücken hilft es natürlich nicht, es ist in der Küche aufgestellt, aber in jeder Hinsicht nützlich gegen Fruchtfliegen. Stellt dieses Ding in eure Küche, vielleicht noch ein oder zwei fleischfressende Pflanzen dazu und ihr werdet keine Probleme haben. Schön ist vor allem, dass das Gerät einen Ein- und Ausschalter hat. Zudem ist es schön designt. Die Schutzstangen verhindern, dass man sich verletzen kann. Für mich muss das Gerät nicht mehr können. Für diese Rezession muss ich die Wasserdichte bewerten. Ich habe das Gerät aber keinem Wasser ausgesetzt und würde es auch nicht empfehlen. Das Gerät war bei mir den kompletten Sommer und Herbst über in Betrieb und hat bisher immer gut funktioniert. Anfangs hatten wir die Befürchtung, dass es für unsere Katze wegen eventueller hoher Töne störend wäre, aber wir haben nichts derartiges bemerkt.

Versieht schon länger in der Küche ihren Dienst. Seitdem keine Mücken mehr, wirk auch bei Obstmücken.

Ik heb deze lamp besteld omdat er per 1 of 2 vliegen ineens binnen in mijn huis (oud huis) proberen te komen van meerdere plekken. Oorzaak is niet te vinden, professioneel hulp vond ook niks. Binnen een kwartier hoorde ik al een lekkere knal. and paar minuten later weer. ik heb deze binnen opgehangen en stoort absoluut niet. En werkt gewoon met andere lampen aan. Kabel kan langer maar is prima voor mij. een absolute aanrader.
