Good strings, good price.
bought these for my son, he was well impressed. he commented on the sound quality and feel. he was also impressed with the quality of the strings themselves. due to the size of the strings they will cost more but the price seemed appropriate for them .

this is the set for me and my acoustic bass
tried a few other acoustic bass sets but i have constantly gone back to this D'Addario set over the past few years. a nice bass tone and feel to these strings and they last for a good length of time (if you take care of them). i will be buying them again

Acoustic Strings
The strings are well packaged and clearly marked, great deep tone, only thing I'd choose lighter gauge for my style but for acoustic rock and blues great choice

Great strings for non acoustic basses
Although these are sold as strings for acoustic basses, I personally do not like their sound in an acoustic, preferring TI flatwounds or Daddario tapewounds, however on my Peavey T40 and Rickenbacker 4001 they are a revelation....deep, dark but well defined with perfect tension, I love 'em! They look good too.
