Best option for t12 3ft LED retrofit.
Arrived fairly quickly. Pretty easy to install even though I had to rewire my fixture. It was the old t12 with magnetic ballast. No one stocks 3ft led bulbs locally so I’m pretty satisfied. Only downside is I had to buy a case. Only been installed for two months now, so I can’t comment on longevity. The light output is very bright though.

Fit perfectly in my electronic ballast
Bright daylight colored light. Lights up instantly and was plug-and-play in my electronic ballast. The LEDs look way better than fluorescents.

Bright and good coverage
I thought I could install these in the 50+ year old fixtures because the current tubes specifications suggested it would work. It takes a little research but I found from Grainger: Centium™, Electronic, Fluorescent Ballast, Ballast Start Type Instant, Item #2MCX5, mfr. Model #ICN-2P32-N. There is an unintended consequence, my wife likes to listen to the radio while cooking. The radio is hard wired above the recessed lighting above the kitchen sink counter. The static is so loud you can not listen to the radio. I have not had time to figure this one out yet.

good deal
Brighter than I thought they would be. Works fine in my ballasted fixtures. I wouldn't call these warm. They are white and seemed whiter than 4000K but that is what I prefer.

Does not work in common household light fixtures
These tube lights appear to be a mechanical fit, but do not work in a common household light fixture shown in the attached picture. The house was built 2016-2017, so the fixture is not very old. The light turns on for 20 seconds, subtly flickers for the last 5 seconds, then turns off. For a few minutes after, the light does not turn on at all. After several minutes, the light turns on again, stays on for 20 seconds, starts to flicker, and turns off. I tried two of these - they both exhibit the same behavior with this fixture. It seems to be a compatibility problem and I see no way of knowing that it won't work in advance.

Look and work great in new fixtures. Philips probably oversold "plug and play" though.
As LED replacements go, these are pretty decent. In newer fixtures, they really are just straight replacements, and the light output is an improvement over traditional fluorescent tubes. My biggest push for replacing everything with LED tubes is not worrying about glass or hazardous materials if a traditional tube breaks. Having said that, I've got a fair amount of experience with LED replacements, and was hopeful that Philips had figured out how to overcome problems other companies have had using LED replacements in fixtures with older ballasts. I'd normally be apprehensive, but because Philips was pushing how these are "plug and play" without tons of asterisks, I was hopeful. Unfortunately, my older (2004) fixtures didn't come to life with these. Newer ones worked just fine, and like I had said before, these are quite nice. But if you're not putting them in to new fixtures, or aren't sure if your older fixtures need a ballast replacement, I wouldn't necessarily expect these to be "plug and play".

No rewiring. Plug them in like normal bulbs.
Love them. No rewiring. Install like normal bulbs. Great price. This is the one you are looking for.

Solution to Converting Fluorescents to LED
This is the perfect solution for converting fluorescent lighting to LED without having to bypass the ballast or replace the entire fixture. I just installed them and hope to live long enough to see if they’re good for 50,000 hours.
