Love these so much. Look great in kitchen, small, neat and beautiful. Made of glass which is easy to clean and shiny! Very easy to use. Love the fact you can put a bowl on top, zero, add flour in grams, zero, add milk in ml, simples. Best thing I've bought in ages. Make a superb gift.

Great set of scales, glad I went with Salter as they have a history behind them unlike the cheaper brands. Was good to see a warranty with them which was good peace of mind that they would actually work. Very accurate for the kitchen, really sensitive which is what you want. Easily zeroed when using bowls or when adding more than one ingredient. The liquid feature is very cleaver for measuring water/milk without a separate measuring jug. Looks good in the kitchen too

Great product, works well, simple to use and looks good. Only four stars because from the pictures it looks like there are no buttons and you just touch the tiles to reset, change weight unit etc - but in fact there are two buttons underneath the tile surface (but still easy to use!).

I've just received these scales and they look as good as the pic. I'm very pleased with the flat wipe-clean glass surface. At 20cm x 16cm (8" x 6") they look a little smaller than I'd expected but that's not a problem. They stow away really easily. The readout window is clear and they weigh in grams, pounds, fluid ounces and millilitres. The surface is very sensitive so you have to be a bit careful changing the settings otherwise it registers as a weight - but I'm sure I'll get used to that. A fun addition to my kitchen

Sturdy, good quality item and I love that the flag proudly shines forth as a reminder of the glory days of Empire. When I'm weighing foods from former oppressed colonies, I'm transported back to those Halcyon days UPDATE: Became very erratic after a couple of years. Does very poorly with adding different ingredients to one container. Basically stops registering and leaves you at risk of ruining your ingredients by continuing to pour. Not sensitive at all to small amounts, e.g. 10g or lower.

OK, so it's a basic, cheapish kitchen scale. But I still expect it to work for longer than seven months, and especially as it's a well known brand. The digital display has stopped working, and several changes of new batteries have made no difference. Contacted Amazon via the order page, and disappointed to find that as the item cost less than £20, they don't want to know. Apparently, items purchased from Amazon that cost less than £20 only have a six month guarantee. Who knew? Anyway, I've now contacted Salter directly who are dealing with it. Just a bit of a faff really. It might be a one-off, but to be honest I've had salter scales in the past and none of them have ever lasted more than a couple of years. I usually just replace them, but really, these things should last longer. I won't be buying again.

Good looking scale but it has an annoying design issue with the zero bottom. Overall good value for money.

Salter have such a good name and it is easy to see why. These scales are quality! The scales are just what I needed to help with portion control. Great little compact unit, but with great functionality. The ability to zero the scales makes it so simple to weigh multiple ingredients in the same bowl. Easy to read display. And a great price!

Ich war schön länger auf der Suche nach einer neuen Küchenwaage, da meine schon arg gelitten hatte im Laufe der Jahre. Dann fand ich diese ultraschicke Waage im Union Jack-Design und konnte einfach nicht widerstehen. Neben ihren wirklich tollen Aussehen und der Tatsache, dass man sie einfach sauber halten/reinigen kann, sind die Funktionen super! Es gibt eine Tara-Funktion und man kann zwischen mehreren verschiedenen Gewichtseinheiten wählen. "Salter Best of..." ist definitiv die beste Küchenwaage, die ich bisher hatte!

Pesez viande à 5% légumes +riz ou pâtes, elle est parfaite. Très esthétique. Prend peut de place. Très facile d utilisation. J utile que les grammes. Livrez avec 2 piles plates et rondes lithium cell 3 v. Prix des piles aucune idée. Beau Disign Livrez à la date prévue. Je l à conseille.

The product looks exactly as in the picture. The scale shows the correct measures. I use it alot in the kitchen.
