I love how tiny and compact this is! This is great for cooking 1-2 serving portions of quinoa when the rest of the family eats rice. Cooks a cup of quinoa in 20 min (using the cup provided) and 2 cups in about 25 minutes. The bottom does burn a little but not enough to change the taste or pick out before eating. It doesn't stick due to the non-stick coating. Very easy to clean and store.

I was looking for a small rice cooker that could make a single serving. This one had good reviews . It works very well for me. It takes 15- 20 minutes for a serving.

I got the WHITE TIGER 1.0L Mini Rice Cooker for my mom, and she's really enjoying it. She finds it easy to use and clean, which is great for her. The compact size is perfect for her kitchen, and it's nice that it's portable. Overall, it's a practical and handy appliance . I'd recommend it if you're looking for a mini rice cooker.

Nice little rice cooker. Great for one person. Doesn't take up much space. Easy to clean.

We wanted to like it, but when the rice was cooking, lots of water and foam came out of the vent hole and needed continued mopping up, so there was a puddle underneath, plus it sprayed onto nearby containers. Also, the rice was too mushy, no separate grains, more like cooked oatmeal. The user guide was too cryptic to be helpful. Perhaps a second edition of the product with a better user guide? Sorry, we really wanted this to work -- the size is great, it looks good. Update 8/9/20: I wanted to raise to two stars and point to other reviews that clarify how to use, what types of rice, and so on, but found that the seller's description is really misleading: "Making rice and whole grains in the this perfect Rice Cooker is as easy as placing the ingredients in the bowl and turning it on. The rice will cook perfectly on its own, giving you time to prepare the rest of your meal. There’s no need to worry about boiling water, adjusting the temperature or even setting a timer,it will automatically shift to warm once the cook cycle is complete. Clean up is a snap." This is complete nonsense. We spent the entire cook time coping with the spray, and the entire eating time disliking the rice.

Very compact, doesn’t take up much room. Works well and quietly. Everything about it is easy in operation and cleaning. The instructions are very vague. Making porridge is trial and error, but simple enough. Most people know how to make rice already. After cooking it goes to keep warm level until you unplug. No over boiling or spillage. Extra rice needs to be put in a separate container for storage. Rice pot doesn’t have an independent lid. It’s perfect for dorm rooms, travel and small quarters. Very cute comes in 2 colors.

PRO: easy use, easy clean (lid falls off separately), lightweight and small CON: bubbles over easily This is great for singles or couples who only need to make small portions each time. It is easy to use - only one button, and numbers engraved on the bowl inside to guide you how much water per rice cup. Cleaning is quite easy as well - the lid comes off, so no need to hassle with holding the whole unit when you clean it. However, this product bubbles over really easily. I know starch content is the main reason for bubbling over, but I washed the rice 3-4 times until the water becomes clear. I only do one cup, so there’s a lot of excess space to the top. Yet somehow this bubbles over and drools starch water beneath it all the time, making me use it in the sink. It’s really annoying, but other than that it does the job in 15-20 minutes. Hopefully I’ll try buying a different rice next time and see if it still drools starch water. 3 stars for now, will update.

Love this rice cooker—works well, efficient size and it has a slow cooker function I use to make smaller batches of soup stock. No more saving up chicken bones in my freezer! Love the control panel on the top so I don’t have to bend down to look at. Easy to use and idiot proof.

It looks mini but makes rice or quinoa enough for 2 to 3 people! Pricy but still worth it. This brand is solid and their products usually last for a long time.

Great little steamer. Works very well thus far.

Broke after 1 month use. It would also ofter overflow, even if you add minimal rice/water. Very overpriced for the size. Disappointed

3 cups maximum recommended. It was unable to cook 4 cups properly.
