Skar Audio SDR-12 D2 12" 1200 Watt Max Power Dual 2 Ohm Car Subwoofer

This Skar SDR-12 hits hard! The 1200W max power really pumps out deep, clean bass that shakes the whole ride without distortion. Dual 2-ohm voice coils give me flexibility with my amp setup, which is awesome. Build quality feels tough and the design looks sharp in my enclosure. If you want loud, tight bass that doesn’t break the bank, this sub’s a winner. Definitely recommend for anyone serious about sound!

This 12" SDR 1200 watt max 600 watt normal power subwoofer by Skar is amazing. It's the second one I've ordered here from Amazon. The price is not bad and it arrived on time and in great shape. Definitely worth the money especially if your on a budget and want a sub that can get deep. If my video shows, this is the SDR dual 2 ohm sub wired to 4 ohms to work in my Polk audio home theater sub box. It really is a nice addition to the deep rumble and movies and TV shows. If you're on a budget like I said this is worth a try. The other sub like this is in my truck and it thumps just as deep and gets just as loud.

Had issues with the 1st one not working. Reached out and Amazon sent me a new one the next day.. so far it's working great and sounds good! Totally impressed with the speaker and customer service through Amazon..

Update- March 29, 2020 and I still love these subs after around 6 months of pushing them pretty hard Now let's keep in mind I've only had these installed for 3 days, so my review is based on a short time period. However, I will update immidiately if anything does go wrong with them so if you see this in a year with no updates then they're quality speakers in my book. I purchased these to replace Kicker Comp R's, and it's a total upgrade. These subs are cheaper than Comp R's, but sound way cleaner and hit way deeper. Being as they're 3 days old, my amp is only at *maybe* 1/4 gain to break them in and they're already sounding more powerful and clear than the others. Hopefully they're as durable as they feel, because these things feel solid. They're in a ported dual 12" box, powered by a 2000w Audiopipe amp. Headunit is a Pioneer and door speakers were upgraded to Kenwoods. 10/10, I'll be recommending them to anyone who asks. Also, they're packaged extremely well. The subs each came padded in a box, inside of another tight-fitting box, then both inside of one larger box. There's about 0 chance they show up damaged, which was a big concern being as I've never ordered subs online.

Bought the scar 12 d2 sub and skar 1200 d1 mono block amp and ran the amp at around 30% and wired the sub to 1 ohm to match the amp (perfectly normal) but after break in I turned up the bass abit then after 10 mins of relaxing and enjoying to bass, I smelled the smell... then looked back and the sub was on fire in the lower of the basket.. even had the sub inverted with a large fan pushing air to keep it cool but nope. Long story short if you want serious bass get the next series up or go with sundown audio, I don't even want a replacement on this sub sadly, I'd enjoy my money back but there's a 80% chance that will never happen. The amp is great but the subs are garbage. Don't make the same mistake as me
