I’ve been using the NEEWER 7" Articulating Magic Arm with the Super Clamp for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly impressed with how sturdy it feels. The build quality is solid — all metal, smooth joints, and it locks in place really well once tightened. I’ve used it mainly to hold a small field monitor and sometimes a light, and it hasn’t sagged or slipped during long shoots. The Super Clamp grips firmly onto my rig and even on odd surfaces like light stands or desk edges. I like that it has both 1/4" and 3/8" options, plus the ARRI locating pins — that makes it compatible with a bunch of setups, including my SmallRig cage. It’s super flexible for different angles and setups, which is great when I’m shooting solo. If I had to nitpick, the tightening knob could be a bit larger for easier grip, especially when adjusting on the fly. But overall, it’s a reliable, well-built accessory that feels more premium than the price suggests. Definitely worth it if you need a sturdy, adjustable mount for your monitor, light, or camera accessories. This thing is I must have if you’re shooting creative shots like car indoor shots or even down top down shot while you enter a door for example. It’s very sturdy and I like that it has locking pins so it can’t move left and right while screwing it in and you can install it in any clamp with quarter inch thread.

I've had a hate/hate relationship with magic arms- so i was surprised when this, of all of them, was the one to impress me. quite robust for the price, and very lightweight. a great deal honestly.

This was the second articulating arm I purchased. Much better than my first choice. It has anti-rotation pins, which is very important depending on the equipment equipment you mount on it. I’ve used it to hold, monitors, lights, and many other items. I even attached a phone holder to one end and place it so that I could see through a scope. It was a little bit difficult to get it lined up, but it was worth a shot. Thanks for inventing this

Works great with my 5" and 7" monitors on both shoulder rig and tripod mounts.

Used this product maybe a total of 5 times before it broke on me. The screwing wheel detached off my gimbal and also broke the tiny hot shoe light I was attaching it to. The concept and the use of the product prior to it breaking was perfect, but after having to replace 2 products I’m disappointed and wish I would’ve purchased something else.

I actually don't have any magic arms but I've found this to be very helpful on shoots. I can position my equipment at almost any angle, offering maximum flexibility for various shooting scenarios. Whether I need a precise angle for a camera monitor or a specific position for a video light, this arm can handle it with ease. Be careful while adjusting. While the arm is highly adjustable, you need to ensure the lever is tightened securely to prevent any movement, especially with heavier equipment. I almost dropped a monitor due to not securing it.

Bought this to attach a phone as a monitor to my camera rig and it really is sturdy. The pins make it much more secure when attaching the screws to your tripod thread on the camera cage or phone cage.

Sメーカーや見た事無いメーカーのマジックアームは購入した事が有りますがNEEWERさんのマジックアームは初購入です 決め手になったのはARRI位置決めピンがあったからです ARRI位置決めピンが無いと振動や腕がぶつかったりした時に不意にずれてしまうから何度も増し締めして撮影の手間になってました 所持してるマジックアーム8個の内ARRI位置決めピンがあるのは1個しか持っていなかったので購入価格が手頃な本商品の購入に踏み切りましたが質感はなかなか良いです 耐久性がまだわからないので☆４です
