Product Description The latest cutting-edge phablet from Samsung Legal Disclaimer Nothing to add Review: Functional, beautiful and now affordable. Redhateelectronics 910C - Really wanted this phone back in September but was almost 900 euro. Now down to 550. Got a taste for phablets with the OnePlus One but the Note series are the genesis of the entire category. Loads of functions, great collecting capabilities with the S-Pen and great tools for some constructive time wasting with sketching applications. I would say the S-Pen makes a phone more like a diary than any other phone I've had using the scrapbook to collect and clip text and images from any content on the screen. I still use google keep though for lists and notes...out of habit I think. It will depend on your eyes but I do notice a difference now between the 1440p on the Note 4 and the 1080p display of the OnePlus One. Using the Note 4 I become accustomed to the 1440p pixel density but when I look back at 1080p I instantly see the lack of sharpness. Not obviously the same as looking at 1080p and switching down to 720p but the difference is there and makes the Note 4 all the more enjoyable. What's more the display colours can be changed to basic which is very close to sRGB on this device. I never liked the neon gaudy colours on samsung AMOLED panels. It is a feature present in the S5 also but I never liked the build of the giant band-aid that was the S5. That brings me onto the build which is great too at only a hair taller than the OnePlus One and a little bit wider. The metal frame and 2.5D glass really make it feel premium. The faux leather back is what it is and that is functional. It is nice and grippy and most importantly allows access to a removable battery and microSD card slot. It's the perfect compromise for durability and functionality compared to the S6 with it's all glass construction which would make me nervous and really phones weren't made to be bulked up with cases, bumpers and screen protectors in my opinion. Performance is as touchwiz always is - little frame skips and stutters here and there. They irony is that most people that get this phone will be power users so will easily be able to push the device into these situations. Nova launcher performs a bit better but you'll still see an infrequent hiccup here and there as android does. I have also kept it running KitKat. Works smoothly and word on forums is that 5.0.1 Lollipop is marred with problems for the Note 4 and other Samsung devices. A 5.1.1 lollipop update is apparently due the end of July so I would suggest waiting for that and seeing what reports are like. Don't fix it if it ain't broke is my moto! Camera is also excellent. One of the top 5 cameras you can get in a smartphone. Coming from the OnePlus One I am giving up RAW photo capture which had become a little hobby of mine with Lightroom but there is a chance they will introduce RAW functionality in 5.1.1 as the have for the s6 in the last few weeks but through a third party app like Camera FV5. Could go for the LG G4 just for this functionality but it is just released, more expensive, 1440p LCD screen which I think isn't as good as AMOLED for this resolution and can't change the oversaturated screen colours. The G4 says it is DCI and that makes it more accurate...but almost all content on a smartphone with photography, internet and video is in sRGB which is a narrower colour range hence DCI makes sRGB content look oversaturated. That was the deal breaker for me with the G4. I would rather accurate colour for photo edits. The OIS for video on the Note 4 has gotten better in more current phones but it works wonders for the still photos which I take more of. Speaker is adequate. The Oneplus One had better audio speaker and headphones but it's satisfactory. Call quality is good though and the speaker phone is great to. The phone is loud but a bit tinny. SO It's more affordable than ever and so much utility and easily serviced with the replacement battery and microSD card slot. The battery also is just as good as the OnePlus One despite the higher resolution screen and only moderately larger battery. It might have a slight worse standby time but it's nothing significant. Also fast charging makes it 0 to 100% in under 90 min. I bought my unit from Redhatelectronics. I didn't know what version I was going to get looking at the comments but took the risk and hoped it was 910F or 910C. It was 910C which is the Octacore Exynos variant. Perfect for me since I don't lay 3D games on my phone which the Snapdragon 910F is better for with it's Adreno 420 gpu. In most other circumstances the Exynos is better in benchmarks at least. Real world performance though you won't notice any difference. Note 5 will be out soon and likely a huge price and likely carrying the S6 design language so more glass and no memory expansion or removable battery. Last year Samsung made their mistake with the S5 and redeemed with the Note 4. I think this year it maybe the opposite way around. The Note 4 might be the last of the most functional Note devices but we will see in September. Until then the Note 4 is a great purchase and the perfect time to buy Review: Not any ordinary phone.... - I purchased this handset via desertcart warehouse at a great price, the items was in excellent condition and all accessories supplied in the box. It was time to move over from the Galaxy S3 to something bigger and faster. After not receiving Android Kitkat update on the Galaxy S3 phone I got grumpy and vowed not to buy another Samsung handset. I was looking around for a good large screen handset with battery life and features, the LG G3 was a good choice, but the big let down was the poor battery life. iphone, been there and done that(Yawn). I was struggling to find something with a large screen, removable batter, SD card storage. Low and behold, the Note 4 appeared, great reviews and all that, checked out the handset for myself. Loved it, great qHD screen, lush colours and pin sharp. The S-pen is awesome, the features are endless and the handling/usability for a larger phone was excellent. The battery life is very good considering it has to power a qhd screen, and the ultra power saving mode is brill, especially if you are leaving the phone on at night or won't be using it much. Leaving it in ultra power saving could get you as much as 16 days standby(depending on type of use). Great phone, hard to beat and find something this good in terms of quality and features. Best of everything rolled up into the Note 4.

Beware - google: mmc_read failed. Kudos to Samsung for out of warranty repair.
There are enough other excellent detailed reviews, so I'll just add a few points I noticed which I didn't read elsewhere: Coming from the original Galaxy Note, the Note 4 homescreen - despite its larger size and higher resolution - actually displays a LOT less. The original had a 5 x 5 icon grid on the home screen (plus 5 docked apps), whereas the larger Note 4 displays only a 4 x 4 icon grid (plus 5 docked apps). That is a whole 9 icons fewer, all floating in a sea of empty space. Very frustrating, especially when the Galaxy S6 has the ability to change the numbers of rows/colums in the grid - but the Note does not, and it would seem even the latest OS update (5.1.1) will not offer this. The problem (for me) is compounded because the Alarm Clock widget has also doubled in size to 1 x 4 from 1 x 2. so that knocks out another two icons from my homescreen. I could understand that some people prefer a less busy look to their homescreen, but they are not obliged to pack it to the max, whereas those of us buying the Note 4 in anticipation of the larger screen size will find the benefits do not apply to the homescreen. I've had to resort to using Nova Launcher. The much vaunted metal rim turns out to be plastic, as always. I'm not bothered by this, just amused that all the reviews harp on about "premium", the use of metal, and how much more robust the Note 4 feels as a result. Well, it's plastic (polycabonate), right up to the edge, with perhaps a metalised laminate trim to give it the 'diamond cut' aluminium look. A quick look at the cut-outs will confirm. The fingerprint scanning is a bit hit and miss, but after a few days your technique adapts and it gets better. Panorama mode on the camera is excellent. One click of the shutter and you slowly sweep the phne around. I took one of a bunch of us in a restaurant, and nobody was keeping stock still. I expected faces with three eyes, bodies with ghostly heads, all the usual, but none of it, and no stitching errors. It was as if everybody had posed frozen still. And the file size is now much larger than on the original Note's panoramas, giving a more detailed panorama. EDIT 7 July 2017 revised from 4-star to 1-star. My phone has developed the "mmc_read failed" fault, one month out of warranty. Now that would be OK - except when it comes to Samsung's response. I engaged in a webchat, for which you have first to enter all your phone's details, serial number, purchase date, etc. They peruse all that before starting the chat. So what really hacked me off was the follwoing part of the exchange: Me: Clearly others are suffereing exactly the same issue as me. This si not a one off. It would be nice if there was some recogbition from Samsung James 18:58:45 I understand completely and this is why we offer all our customers 2 years warranty. Is there anything else I can help you with? The message could not be clearer - you are a couple of weeks out of warranty, bye! Any device can have issues. This happens to be a particularly nasty one affecting the Note 4. But all that matters is how you will be looked after. Edit again So after appealing direct to Samsung Uk CEO via email, they offered a full free out of warranty repair. They needed two attempts due to the totally incompetent 3rd party repair agents they retain, much invonvenience to me, but at last it was done, and my faith in Samsung restored. They even swapped out the battery for a brand new one. Now nearly a year later my Note soldiers on still. Not impressed by the new glass Notes, so my Note 4 is still a keeper.

Prodotto apparentemente buono ma con batteria finita. Funziona solo a corrente.
