Basic monitoring security
This is a very basic system at a low(ish) price. The product quality is also basic and not that good but works as it should. It is relatively easy to get up and running via the app and you will get notifications of an ‘alarm’ condition and the internal speaker in the camera will sound. However the alarm sound does nothing to alert anyone being too quiet and inside the shed/garage/house etc. but it will alert an intruder to the camera and its onboard so card. Once the camera is the. Unplugged - nothing works. So yes it’s cheap but it is very basic and I would recommend turning off the camera ‘siren’ to help keep it concealed. I would not recommend it for your home but for monitoring a shed or garage etc it would do a good job.

Affordable and Functional, But Don't Expect High-End Security
If you’re looking for an affordable security system that provides basic protection without draining your wallet, this system may well be worth considering. However, like most things in life, you get what you pay for, and at £50, this system delivers just that—basic, no-frills security with a few quirks along the way. Let’s begin with the setup process, which, if you’ve read the instructions, might initially appear daunting. The guide makes it sound far more complicated than it really is. In reality, the installation isn’t difficult at all; it’s just a matter of taking your time to ensure everything is properly aligned. I did find that the door sensor, in particular, requires near-perfect alignment to work effectively, so it’s worth taking the extra time to get it just right. Once I did that, it worked like a charm, but it’s something to keep in mind during installation. As for the overall quality, it’s perfectly serviceable, though don’t expect premium materials or sophisticated technology. It’s a basic setup, but it gets the job done. The alarm, for instance, works well enough to alert you in the event of an intruder, and for the price, it does exactly what it needs to without too much fuss. If you’re expecting the kind of robust build and high-end features that come with pricier systems, you’ll likely be disappointed. But for £50, the quality is certainly acceptable, and it offers a decent level of security for those who simply need something to deter unwanted visitors. The system is very easy to control via the accompanying app and remote controls. The app itself is straightforward, making it convenient for users to arm or disarm the system from anywhere, and the remotes add an extra layer of convenience for those who prefer a physical control option. It’s not revolutionary, but it works, and that’s what matters most when it comes to budget-friendly security. However, as with any budget system, expectations should be kept in check. This isn’t going to provide the same level of security as a more expensive, professionally-installed system. It offers basic protection—ideal for monitoring areas that need a bit of extra vigilance without investing a small fortune. If you're simply looking for something to give you peace of mind in areas like a back door or shed, this will do the trick. But if you’re hoping for a system that offers top-tier security with advanced features, you’ll need to look elsewhere. In conclusion, this is an inexpensive option that offers fundamental security without breaking the bank. As long as you recognise its limitations and don't expect cutting-edge technology, it’s a perfectly serviceable solution for basic protection. It’s easy to install, easy to control, and does the job well enough for those on a budget. So long as you’re mindful of its basic nature, this system offers solid value for money and will likely serve you well for the price.
