Very sharp - be careful. But if that's what you're looking for (I was), then it works great! Not very easy to cut to size using my metal snips, but I folded them over and just had double spikes where there was excess.

These sharp stainless steel spikes are the fix to stop squirrels from climbing your bird feeder pole.Now the birds can eat with a full bird food feeder instead of it being empty every day.I like the squirrels too,but I can't give them access to all the food.

Very nice, flexible and easy to cut for size. Can be painted to match areas. The sharp points can be moved and adjusted for the area. Only downside is that small birds can stand on these and actually a pair of finches built a nest on top of it! So keep that in mind.

Purchased these spikes to keep gray doves and starlings from nesting on my garage lights every year. These spikes are very sharp and are easily mounted by screws or cable ties. I cut them to desired length, then bend spikes into position, and cable tied to top of garage light. So far no birds attempt to nest unless they want to get stabbed. They are short and effective enough not to be a gaudy eyesore.

Strong gloves and delicate handling required. Sadly no hardware included. Precut into easy to install panels. Stupidly sharp, just lighty touching the spikes will draw blood. Works great for squirrels if you layer it thick enough so they can't jump past it. Slows down raccoons and opossums but in my case won't completely stop them. Does nothing for small birds, pigeons or larger will avoid it. Turkeys will flatted the spikes and not even notice them. Great buy for the price, buy extra, it will not cover as much area as you expect it to.

Just what I needed! The squirrel-proof bird feeder only works when squirrels approach from below, as their weight pushes the steps down, closing off the feeder ports. They have figured that out! These spikes are perfect for wrapping above and below the feeder ports so the birds can still access the ports without the squirrels cleaning it out in a day!!

Razor sharp blades with no warning. I stabbed my fingertips a few times in the first few seconds before rializing I need to wear leather gloves. They should work well when handled with gloves. But, it should come with a warning.

These work great and are very easy to bend, so needing to secure them with screws or ties was unnecessary for me. Thumbs up and recommended
