Excellent vegan option to other sauces/relishes that may contain anchovies

Hendo’s! I first discovered this vegan, deliciously spicy Sheffield standard when it made an appearance in my local barrelled goods shop, now long gone. I’m a care-home resident, and I was previously relying on L&P to lift the disgustingly bland and unseasoned food in here. However, a clumsy care-giver broke my bottle. Looking for a replacement, I saw that Hendo’s was available in a near-unbreakable litre plastic bottle. If I was being picky, the bottle could be a little more sturdy. I have to be careful not to squeeze it as I shake a few drops onto my food. The taste is very similar to L & P. There is a delicious spicy savour to it which lifts just about everything. At home, I used it in soups, stews, casseroles, curries, lasagna, pasta sauces… The price was a little higher than I would have liked, but that’s a relatively minor point. Perhaps the sellers could follow the practice of others on Amazon and offer a two bottle deal. My jumbo bottle of sauce doesn’t last as long as you would think.

Great relish (Sauce) for all sorts of things from cooking to trickling on your chips, or cheese on toast. This is totally Vegetarian, unlike the other well know sauce from Lee & Perrin's, why this isn't more widely available on Scottish stores is beyond me. Fantastic taste, and a great bargain for this amount. If you already like that other sauce, you'll love this one more, and it'll keep the Vegetarians well happy.

We order these regularly. Only occasionally get a leaky bottle or broken lid. Alway get a full refund straight away and reorder.

Well this is different. In a nice way. Everyone should try it.

One of my favourites, though we just moved south and found it hard to get.. Good price, good delivery.

My wife and I love Henderson's and have been using it for years. The squeeze bottle is great for us during cooking, but be warned that it is easy to pour too much with just a light pressure.

I love this stuff. Ordered twice and both times it leaks in shipping. Will continue to purchase but wish it wouldn't leak out in the box.

Not the safe as Worcestershire sauce it’s warmer on the tongue and less sharp and I like it very much.
