I bought the 30". I didn't realize there was an option for the 48". This one is going back to be exchanged for the 48". 30" is too small.

Has anyone use SuperSods Soil3 level mix which is 70% sand and 30%organic matter.

No, but it should be no problem. The soil I used to level my backyard had considerable amount of organics, like stems.
