Totes Solid Wood Back Scratcher

Very good back scratcher. Got 2 of them a while ago and I like them so much, I just purchased 2 more to have one in each room. The scratcher head is metal and has good scratching power. The handle is solid wood so you can add as much pressure as needed for relief, unlike those telescopic back scratchers which bend and it seems you get never enough pressure to fight that itch. It's good looking and sturdy and with normal use it should hold up a long time. My oldest one is over 3 years old now and still scratches and looks like new. The attached hanger ring dangling at the bottom end is a nice idea but if you don't hang it somewhere it's just annoying, but it's easy to remove. I would definitely recommend this solid wood back scratcher.

Decent back scratcher!

Good solid back scratcher. Good reach, does what it's supposed to do and reasonably sturdy. I like it. Been using mine for about 2 months now and it sure beats rubbing up against walls like a bear.

Anyone have this problem? The claw wont screw into wood. Seems like threads dont match. Also the handle has a cracked area at was painted over. Wondering if its a one time defect. I’m returning. Trying to decide if i should order another.

Durability seems excellent so far, and it scratches well. It's attractive in addition to being functional, and the attached ring is more than strong enough to hang this if you wish.

Gave as a gift & it was given back to me...don't know what to say about that. I thought it worked fine.

I have gone through a lot of back scratchers in my time. I have a few bamboo ones I keep at home. They are sturdy but they do not have the scratching power of a metal back scratcher. Before I got this one, I had 3 telescoping back scratchers that I used at work to quell my itchy back. Let me tell you something about telescoping back scratchers, although they have great scratching power (I bet you rip some skin if you tried hard enough), they are flimsy as a wet noodle. So flimsy were my last 3 telescoping scratchers, that they all broke on me, and after experiencing the sharp scratches of a metal scratcher, I could not go back to a bamboo one. So I searched amazon and I found this baby. With the scratching power of a metal scratcher and the sturdiness of a bamboo scratcher, this thing quells my itchy back like no other. Definitely recommend.

Bought 2 for my husband, one for upstairs and one downstairs. Tired of seeing him try to scratch his back against a door jam! Because of the mixed reviews for the extendable ones, I chose the Totes brand. Glad I did. These are well made, sturdy, and attractive. My husband is very happy with them.
