DuPont Teflon Silicone Lubricant Aerosol Spray

I use it on my sliding doors and windows. Works perfectly. Stay away from oil, it collects dust and dirt.

I purchased this spray lubricant to use to maintain my treadmill belt as well as my personal Pilates reformer which has wheels and pulleys that need lubricant. It doesn’t feel heavy or gooey like oils can, it sprays easily, and comes with the little straw thing to attach to the nozzle for more precise application. I would purchase again.

I bought these for my sliding glass doors. It just doesn’t last long maybe a week they slide was quiet. But after about a week, they’re back to the noisy doors. Also has a very strong odor wouldn’t buy again.

I liked both products. Especially the non aerosol bottle when you don’t want the splatter from a spray. Clear liquid that makes things slide again.

love it, works as advertised. for example: first time it "failed" me was with a sliding door. the problem with the sliding door ended up being bad bearings on the wheel. so I ordered a new set of wheels. the new set came, and I tested how easy the wheels roll, well, not so easy, sprayed into the bearings, and once given a spin, the wheels kept going and going and going... doesn't smell as bad as other spray lubricants, does not run or drip as much.

My spray came with the cap cracked and the can dented because someone at FBA / Amazon fulfillment shipped it without proper packing in what is barely too small a box for it. Why so cheap, saving a few dollars across what is potentially every thousand orders by using smaller boxes? Come on now. And now they won’t allow a return because it contains a gas or flammable substance. Amazon should disclose this up front, on the product page, in an easy to find location. I wouldn’t mind the cracked cap and dented can if this was a product I would use within a week, but it’s not. It will likely sit for months to years after it’s first use. That aside, it works great. I’m using it to lubricate a few high security locks and it doesn’t accumulate gunk and dust like “wet” spray on lubricants do. At the same time it beats graphite for this application, as it doesn’t clump up when used in wet locations. Simply reapply it from time to time.

High quality lube and great for garage doors

the spray leaves white speckled residue everywhere. Not a problem with a garage door or outdoor applications, but definitely a pain for indoor use – cleaning up the dry little white spots from overspray isn't so easy. I bought the 3-pack spray, and wish I had bought this package with the bottle of fluid. I swear by DuPont chain lube which is a bit waxy, but this is a "dry" lube (after, well, drying), which offers other uses. Want to cut down on garage door noise? Use the spray on the runners and the liquid on the wheels (and rods). It makes a huge, amazing difference, doesn't affect rubber, and doesn't attract dirt... if you're using WD40 or oil you're making a mistake. I use spray and liquid DuPont Chainsaver and it's all I ever use now. My garage door sounds like a monk in meditation, not the Mardi Gras parade it used to sound like This spray is even more interesting, but again, I wish I had the liquid version for small applications. Guess I'll purchase this and add it to my DuPont lubricant arsenal... DuPont makes insanely great and unique stuff, and I buy their lubricants again and again for EVERYTHING

Wish the price would come down. Why is it cheaper across the boarder with the exchange than it is here in Canada?
