Simple blinds but effective at blocking out light and look stylish and elegant. The movement is slick and the chain has a plastic clip that can be screwed to the wall as an anchor to stop the chain moving around in the wind. Overall, I'm very impressed with these blinds, especially for such a fantastic price. I purchased 4 and one arrived with the metal pole inside having been bent in the post but this was rectified on the next business day with the broken blind being collected and a new one being delivered. At this price it wouldn’t be too much of a loss if it all went wrong.I had to cut down this blind to size before fitting. The material can be cut easily with a decent pair of scissors, and thankfully it doesn’t fray. For the roller end I used a hacksaw and then filed the edge.The fixings supplies are plastic and what you would expect for a budget product. I don’t intend to be raising and lowering the blind very often - it’s generally going to stay in place. So for my purposes, I expect it will be absolutely fine for the foreseeable future.The blind material lets a lot of light through, which works great for me as it acts like a big light diffuser for the window.For less than £15 I’ve got a basic blind and I’m happy with it.
