When I got this book I said to myself: "Why in the world would a woman with a PhD write a book with cartoons in it?" How can this be involved with vision? But I kept at it. I kept thinking there must be some truth here. And yes! You can improve your vision! Started at Left -7.75 Right -6.25. Now Left -5.5 and Right -4.5 and still improving. Ask your eye doctor for weaker prescription for school/work. You can buy glasses online now without the eye doctor! Never wear full strength glasses for close activities, EVER!!!! This is what makes your eyes get worse!! Get outside! Get off your phone!! This absolutely can be done. Slow process but worth it!

Ordered this book based on favorable reviews here on Amazon, and I couldn't disagree more. Written from a new age perspective, it totally fails at laying out a systematic program for vision improvement. A much better choice is a second book I thankfully ordered at the same time called "The Program For Better Vision" by Martin Sussman, an outstanding book that does lay out a systematic plan to achieve vision improvement. As for "Natural Vision Improvement" by Janet Goodrich, save your money. Would have rated it 0 stars if that was an option.
