Now we will just see how long it lasts. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect, but a band-aid *by H***. on July 30, 2023* 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ Sport My truck had the same exact symptoms every one else described in these reviews. I bought one of the less than $10 sensors here, while it stopped the bucking, the truck just ran poorly and started having shifting issues. I just installed the Dorman one and all of that went away, immediately. Why a band-aid? Well, because it is well known that old Jeeps like their Mopar sensors. It will be a matter of time before this one goes too, but since I can't afford a Mopar TPS at the moment, it will have to do for now. A quick tip for anyone not familiar with Jeeps and their sensors, always reset the ECU by removing the negative battery terminal from the battery for a couple of minutes. These are old trucks and a little slow on the uptake and need a slap in the back of the head every so often. You may install a sensor and it runs like crap on first start because you didn't reset the ECU.
