The shipping box holds 96 of them. I do not have those dimensions, but since they changed from square to round, the shipping box is a bit taller. Hopefully Kellog's will reprint these to stress "Right side up." When stacked/shipped sideways, there's always 3-5 individual packets that don't make it. Hope this helps. **Q: What is the shelf life?** A: I'd bet that shelf life differs, slightly, depending upon when you happen to make your purchase. (Retailers probably purchase larger quantities at one time than you do...so, the last customer happening to purchase before the retailer sells out and re-purchases obtains a shorter "best by" date than the first customer). I never had to throw any Raisin Bran out, so I'd find other things to worry about unless you rarely consume Raisin Bran. Even if you are a slow consumer, Raisin Bran packaged in the manner in which this is packaged is highly unlikely (in my personal opinion) to deteriorate rapidly past its "best by" date-- provided you store it in a protective, cool, dry place.
