The Nova is beautifully built and, using Hauppauge's software, will automatically take you to the correct satellite for the UK, so it's a matter of confirming you want to let it find all the available channels. I then unchecked them all, and added the stations i want to use. Other TV tuner software I have used makes you choose the correct satellite, which isn't difficult, but it's a nice touch from Hauppauge, especially for someone new to TV, sticks or cards. Over the years, I've had a few internal TV cards and still do. The beauty of these USB sticks is that you can plug them into another laptop or desktop, provided they have the right software.
