The seal on this is secure, it doesn’t leak however I would describe it as a medium seal. I do “hard-shake” with both hands and haven’t had any issues with leaking. But I wouldn’t suggest shaking with one hand. The tins separate fairly easily, no trouble with un jamming. The smaller tin is a smaller height than what most bars usually have. The strainer is good quality and fits in nicely.
