It does not work well if you have any sort of case or other obstruction between the ring and the NFC sensor. **Q: What frequency does this operate at?** A: Near-field communication devices operate at the same frequency (13.56 MHz) as HF RFID readers and tags. We will see! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Eh on the product, saving grace good customer service. *by H***Y on June 23, 2015* The ring itself was hard to work with. Impossible on my S4 with the wireless charger installed. Didn't really work with a case on my phone either. With the case off and wireless charger removed it worked in a very narrow sweet spot.The seller was really nice to work with. They gave tips on how to improve how well it worked. Ultimately I ended up returning the ring because I couldn't get it to work well enough for me. The seller stated that they have a model coming out in a little while that is supposed to work better with trouble devices. If you try this and it doesn't work well for you, you may want to ask about that newer model.If I didn't have a case or a wireless charger I think this would have worked ok. They include stickers so you can find the sweet spot more easily. My biggest concern was with as hard as it was to work with my phone I felt it would be much harder sharing data.
