They hold up well and are thick enough where the plastic handle doesn’t show through and scrape my dishes. The regular nylon scrubby brushes are fine for pots and pans but the bristles are way too far apart for dishes IMHO so you have to go over them twice or more to get them feeling clean. It's much firmer feeling than the bottle brushes with the sponge at the bottom (I've had several and always so flimsy) but the sponge on this feels like it will last a long time if just used for plates and glasses/mugs. Highly recommend this!
