Review: An Excellent Tool - Get The One Made For Toilets If You Plan On Using It on Your Toilet - I have a pneumatic plunger also from Populo. It is an excellent piece of equipment and led me to this motorized auger also made by Populo. This auger is an excellent tool. It is well made and should last for many years to come. I had a clog in my toilet that the pneumatic plunger had difficulty to dislodge. As a result I purchased the motorized auger. I eventually dislodged it using the pneumatic plunger but decided to keep the motorized auger anyway for those instances when the pneumatic plunger doesn't work. I like that the auger is self contained. I don't need to use a drill to make it work. It's a little expensive but is worth the money. UPDATE I returned this one and purchased the Populo motorized auger specifically made for toilets. It comes with a tube/sleeve to protect the bowel from scratches when using the motorized metal auger. It is slightly more expensive but again worth it given the quality of the tool and the fact that it won't scratch my toilet bowel.

So I bought this not knowing what to expect. Glad I did, this thing worked like a champ. So easy and so quick. The forward neutral and reverse worked great. It was easy for it to go through the pipe bends unlike the manual one. I did take the U shaped pipe under the sink off first and then put it in directly into the pipe in the wall. Highly recommended.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Excellent Tool - Get The One Made For Toilets If You Plan On Using It on Your Toilet

I have a pneumatic plunger also from Populo. It is an excellent piece of equipment and led me to this motorized auger also made by Populo. This auger is an excellent tool. It is well made and should last for many years to come. I had a clog in my toilet that the pneumatic plunger had difficulty to dislodge. As a result I purchased the motorized auger. I eventually dislodged it using the pneumatic plunger but decided to keep the motorized auger anyway for those instances when the pneumatic plunger doesn't work. I like that the auger is self contained. I don't need to use a drill to make it work. It's a little expensive but is worth the money. UPDATE I returned this one and purchased the Populo motorized auger specifically made for toilets. It comes with a tube/sleeve to protect the bowel from scratches when using the motorized metal auger. It is slightly more expensive but again worth it given the quality of the tool and the fact that it won't scratch my toilet bowel.

So much easier than the manually turned snakes. This is not a professional grade machine so I don't expect it to last for years but it performed well on my two clogs. Be sure to read and fully understand the instructions before using, took me few reads while looking at the machine to fully get it. Do not try to power through a clog. when you feel it hit something, stop the forward feed and let it spin until it frees up, reverse a little if needed. Keep the feed end of the machine close to the drain/pipe. Once you get the hang of it, it's a breeze. The included rubberized gloves were a welcome addition. Don't ignore the safety glasses warning, you WILL get splashed with sludge at some point. Cleaning was easy. Just took it outside, pulled the snake all the way out and washed it with a bucket of soapy water and a rag, rinsed it with a hose and dried it with a rag while pushing the snake back into the drum. Battery worked well. I was able to unclog two drains with no sign of it slowing down.
